Grounds are spectacular and peaceful, main building and breakfast superb, historical building with interesting free museum
Could have been clearer that actual accommodation is in separate new block which was uncomfortably hot and not at all in keeping with period building. Rooms lacked a refrigerator which was also difficult in the heat.

The property is impressive in size but needs maintenance. The accommodation is separate from the main house
The accommodation is tired and needs decoration, the beds are small doubles and there is no water pressure for the showers.
