Casa San Michele

This family run establishment is just super. We were fondly welcomed and our "apartment" more than met our expectations. It has the best views! You can make an espresso in the kitchentte with the best views of the ocean around! Mind you, this place is at "the end of the road" in Minori. We had a car and were able to park it up top for a fair daily fee. To walk (which we did many times) is about a 15 minute down the steps into town, which is normal for the Amalfi Coast....so it would be recommended that you take a taxi or bus if you don't have a vehicle. Breakfast was simple and very pleasant on the terrace each morning. This place is very special. Oh, and they opened up a new restaurant next door which is a delight and also there are a couple of other places nearby if you prefer to stay up on the hill in the evenings.

The view was amazing it on the top and room was clean very remote area out crowded touristic place. It is more like a homestay

The location was on the top we had to take around 330 step with the 20kg bag and two small bags. Once we reached the host told us there are local shuttle bus from minori central in every 1hour it’s dependents on season times. Even tho we had to take 15-25 steps to the bus stop.

We loved our stay at Casa San Michelle! The views were absolutely incredible, the owner was super lovely, and the breakfasts were outstanding. Sitting on the veranda with the most incredible views while the Nonna bought dish after dish to our table was such a great memory. We felt like we were staying with family, 2 little doggies included. There is a washing machine which were able to use, and there's a fridge or waters which we really appreciated. The accommodation is on the Path of the Lemons so you do have to walk up many stairs for those views. Minori is a great base - only 15 minutes from Amalfi Town without all the crowds.

The stair climb is definitely a work out no matter your fitness levels. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you are particularly unfit or have any kind of mobility issues.

The location is excellent with amazing views, and doorstep to the Lemon path. Do note there is a shuttle bus that starts near the ferry port that takes you up and down the hill for €1. Host is very welcoming. Bed very comfortable and a choice of pillows, with en-suite bathroom which was down a couple of stairs. Cool inside room although extreme heat outside. Try connected home restaurant next door Donna Carmela, lovely set meal.
