Casa San Michele

We loved our stay at Casa San Michelle! The views were absolutely incredible, the owner was super lovely, and the breakfasts were outstanding. Sitting on the veranda with the most incredible views while the Nonna bought dish after dish to our table was such a great memory. We felt like we were staying with family, 2 little doggies included. There is a washing machine which were able to use, and there's a fridge or waters which we really appreciated. The accommodation is on the Path of the Lemons so you do have to walk up many stairs for those views. Minori is a great base - only 15 minutes from Amalfi Town without all the crowds.

The stair climb is definitely a work out no matter your fitness levels. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you are particularly unfit or have any kind of mobility issues.

The location is excellent with amazing views, and doorstep to the Lemon path. Do note there is a shuttle bus that starts near the ferry port that takes you up and down the hill for €1. Host is very welcoming. Bed very comfortable and a choice of pillows, with en-suite bathroom which was down a couple of stairs. Cool inside room although extreme heat outside. Try connected home restaurant next door Donna Carmela, lovely set meal.

Stunning view, right on the Lemon Path. It feels like you are integrated into the Italian culture. The breakfast is ok to start with energy the day (typical Italian breakfast), in a great location. There is also a small dining restaurant where you can serve lunch/dinner if you reserve in advance. I will write it as a plus as you need to climb 300+ stairs to get to it, but for us it was a good exercise and you are treated with a great view at the end.

For us wasn't a problem, but it would be an improvement to have a proper door to the apartment, but we always felt safe and you can lock each individual room if you like.

Casa San Michele is a stunning place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. The view is spectacular, the homemade breakfast on the balcony unforgettable, and the rooms are clean, comfy, and well equipped. The price was incredible for the view.
