I had a disappointing experience at Freedom Hotel Phuket and do not feel it meets the standard of a 3-star hotel.
The hotel has no elevator, so I had to carry my luggage to the third floor. The room lacked basic facilities, there is no proper clothes storage, and the bathroom was very basic.
The biggest problem was the extremely low water pressure. There was barely enough water to shower properly. I reported it to the staff, and although they tried to fix it, the problem remained. I was asked to wait until the next day, which was already my check-out day.
Another room was available, but I had to request a room change myself. I then had to move all my belongings again using the stairs.
The parking information on Agoda was also misleading. I booked this hotel because parking was shown as available, but the hotel does not have its own parking; it belongs to another private company. The pool and amenities shown online were also not as expected.
I stayed for four nights because I had already paid, but I regret booking the full stay. The only positive aspect was the convenient location. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel

If you are looking for a basic room with no frills but clean, this is a great space.
The staff is amazing, the AC is ice cold and the showers hot water works perfectly. It is near EVERYTHING.
