Tenby Apartments

A beautiful apartment with a lovely view to the lake, and a fabulous outside terrace with a barbeque, it would be an excellent spot in the summer. The apartment was well appointed and spacious, an easy 10 minute walk to the lakefront, but a longer 20 minute walk to the town centre and restaurants. Wanaka is mostly flat so the walking is not at all difficult. Really new, modern apartment, lovely facilites to cook your own food or explore the many restaurants in town. The Host was very responsive when we advised that the apartment was completely missing one essential item - toilet paper ;)

Having to collect the keys from another property at the other end of town - I should have read the instructions better / noticed the address probably, but the keys also had to be returned there, rather than being left at the apartment, whihc was a pain because it was difficult to park and also in the opposite direction to the one we were leaving from. Overall it was a minor inconvenience really.

Well contained property. Everything we needed for a ski break with great view to the lake Good Bbq and deck as well

The shower head needs replacing. Pressure was good but was like a fountain :)

Location was excellent, close enough to town but far enough way to enjoy the quiet.

Washing facilities for laundry wasn’t available at the property.

The view was fantastic.

The bed was terrible. 2 single mattresses that joined together, with a noticeable gap between the them and sloping towards the middle.
