The best vacation in the last 20 years.

Everything is very well done for a comfortable stay. The room has simple furnishings, but a comfortable locker and shelves. There is a place to put personal belongings. The owners of the hotel, Johanna and Sarah, create a cozy, homely atmosphere. The restaurant is above all praise. I wouldn't be surprised if the chef gets a Michelin star in a year or two. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Superb

We have just returned from a week in L'Escale. W e were two families of four. We loved everything about the hotel. The staff were lovely and the food superb. Highly recommend. When the lift closes and the slopes go quiet it's magical.

The hot tub could have been cleaner.

Incredible, one of a kind stay - right on the mountain. Warm, lovely staff, good food.

The location of l'Escale is exceptional at the top of mountain. Getting there was a bit of a hassle between offloading the car at the gondola, getting onto the gondola and then parking the car further down in town. Once settled, we had a great time, staff incredibly friendly and supportive. Food was generally very good with huge portions. It was very nice, when the weather was good, to be able to sit on the terrace past gondola closure time, enjoying the view.

The facilities and space at the bottom of the hotel (restaurant, ski room, check-in) are a bit cramped and can be chaotic at key moments in the day. Missed a fireplace!

A brilliant break

The location was stunning, wonderful views everywhere you look. Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. The food was superb every day, we really looked forward to our evening meal each night. All this and it was great value for money. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing ski holiday.

une adresse à retenir sur Châtel

Formidable établissement idéalement situé sur les pistes. Accueil très chaleureux avec un personnel accessible et attentionné du début à la fin (merci pour le prêt des bâtons). Mention spéciale pour le jacuzzi et le sauna extérieurs qui permettent de profiter du calme de la montagne après la fermeture du télécabine. Les repas étaient succulents et copieux. Nous conseillons et reviendrons avec grand plaisir

A noter qu'il n'y a pas d'ascenceur et que nous étions au 3e étage (aucun souci pour nous mais il faut le savoir)

Hotel met excellent eten op een toplocatie.

De keuken! Iedere dag opnieuw excellent gegeten. De ligging bovenaan de gondel is top, zodat je meteen met ski"s aan kunt vertrekken. Ook de jacuzzi en sauna na een skidag deden deugd!

Niets! Of om iets te zeggen: de traphal kan een opfrisbeurt gebruiken. Maar wie geeft daar nu om?

Parfait

L'emplacement. La propreté des lieux est impeccable. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner étaient délicieux. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et toujours prêt à aider, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Je recommande vivement cet endroit!
