Besidka was recommended (as was Slavonice) by a Czech architect acquaintance. It's an amazing, unusual space in a really attractive town a bit off the beaten path. "Bohemian" might describe the playful vibe, though it's clear attention has been given to details too.

Besídku nelze hodnotit jako ubytovací zařízení. Besidka je naprosto výjimečný prostor kde se potkala historie, moderní architektura, umění a přesah do Divadla Sklep. Pobyt zde byl osvěžujícím zážitkem i proto, že na každém kroku je zde cítit, že tady je demokracie doma a komunismem se zde pohrdá.

The smell of mold. The room seemed otherwise clean, but the smell wasn't nice and I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.
