Very nice, clean and cozy house - feel like at home

The house is very nice, clean and bigger, than it looks on the pictures. It is very nicely decorated, with cozy areas. We were there at Christmas time and there was even a tiny tree with lights:-) The communication with the host was fast and efficient. You have everything that you would need to feel at home. We were with our dog and the area where the house is located was perfect for walks with the dog.

The only thing is the fact there there is only one toilet, which is on the ground floor, but this information was shared in advance and we were well informed about this.

Perfect stay

A warm, welcoming house located in a beautiful, quiet area with little traffic, equipped with absolutely everything you need, featuring a gorgeous inner courtyard perfect for summer days. We were pleasantly surprised to find toys for children and bicycles available. We recommend it without any hesitation.

The stairs and the ground floor bathroom could be seen as a downside, but they didn’t bother us. We were aware of them in advance, so we were prepared.

It was over all great place to stay .

Kitchen was great .. big bedroom.. Lots of toys for kids to be engaged!! Silent road big bathroom.

The toilet was downstairs May be it is Belgium design but it would have been good to have it upstairs too. With kids it would have been good to have baby gate for stairs.

Lovely family stay

Excellent location close to Eeklo city center, but far enough to avoid noise and traffic. Very clean! The kids loved seeing the animals on the other side of the road, and also the good assortment of toys available.

Absolutely satisfied

We liked everything. Starting from the booking and communication till check out. The house was very clean and cosy. There is a parking place right in front of the door. Anything you would want in the house is available. We also liked a lot how easy was to communicate with the host.

Relaxing, peaceful stay in Eeklo

The owners were very responsive and provided helpful information to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were able to park our car right out front which was convenient. the house faces a pasture and far in the distance we’re windmills. The whole street was quiet and relaxing. The full kitchen allowed us to make breakfast each day and coffee was provided by the owner next to the pods along with creamer. There is a cute outside patio although we didn’t make much use of it during our stay. The bedrooms were laid out upstairs on separate floors so really kept noise to a minimum. No traffic and easy to get onto the highway to tour during the day. Bruges and Ghent are about 30min drive away. We used as a base for our day trips. Would absolutely stay again.

The steps on the staircase leading to the bathroom were a bit narrow so going up and down the stairs made me nervous. I just made sure to be careful and use the handrail. The only toilet is on the ground level (whereas there are sinks and shower on the same floor as bedrooms) so had to go downstairs to use the toilet.

A dream house

Very quiet, large, pleasant house with charm. Comfortable bedroom with good bed, big wardrobe and places for the luggage, we’ll equipped and spacious kitchen. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Even the staircase is part of the charm. In front of the door is enough and convenient place for parking.

Spacious house conveniently located but mind the stairs!

Nice, quiet location. Nice well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space. Small patio. Big plus - washer and dryer. Also free parking right in front of the entrance. Good instructions from the host. The place is conveniently located between Ghent and Brugges.

Big house with a very strange design: the toilet is located in the corridor on the ground (first) floor next to the entrance while the bathroom (no toilet) is on the second floor next to the 1st bedroom, the 2nd bedroom is on the third floor. The stairs to the bedrooms are perilously steep and not suitable for young children and elderly people.

Top 3 accommodation....EVER!

Great hosts! Responsive, informative, friendly, polite, and fun! One of the best hosts we have ever experienced on Bookings or AirBnB, Awesome location. Easily accessed and not in a busy area yet close to everything.

Only one toilet and it's on the main level and the bedrooms are up. The stairs are VERY steep, so if you have mobility issues, this could be a challenge. And our first night was oppressive. Due to climate change, areas like this that don't really need AC, will need it more and more. The main bedroom was hot and the additional upstairs was not safe. Can't fault the host. Reality.

Eeklo is well located for exploring Antwerpen, Gent, Brugge ant the coast. Spacious house for a family of four.Very good value for money.

The bedroom is spacious, so a slightly larger bed would be a plus. Note for those who walk with difficulty: the staircase is rather steep.

Wonderful house!

This is a wonderful and spacious 3-floor house. The ground floor is open plan and has the kitchen, dining area and the living area. The bedrooms are on 2nd and 3rd floor. It is lovely decorated, cozy and well equipped. The location is very convenient, just in the middle of the way between Ghent and Bruges. We strongly recommend it! :)

Propreté absolue, réactivité d'Annelies (pour la télé), sa gentillesse lors de nos échanges par WhatsApp. Une maison plus grande qu'attendue, avec tout le confort. La situation en bordure d'Eeklo, en pleine campagne, au calme. Proche de Bruges et Gand, idéal.

Absolut Vintage, tolle Küche mit allem was man braucht. Uneinsehbare Terasse. Badewanne und Doppelwaschbecken. Liebevolle Details

WC im EG und steile Treppe hat uns nicht gestört. Die Heizung lässt sich nicht wirklich regeln und wir fanden es zwischendurch recht kalt

Fabuleux

Nous avons été subjugués par le charme de la maison. Le logement était impeccable, la cuisine incroyablement bien équipée et le petit patio très cosy. Nous avons regretté la brièveté du séjour tellement nous nous sentions bien dans cette maison. Les enfants quant à eux étaient ravis de pouvoir profiter des vélos à disposition gratuitement. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas déçus.

Sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft in Ostflandern

Ein wunderschönes und sehr großes Häuschen. Der Preis war sehr fair. Wir haben in den Niederlanden für ein Haus was nur ein Viertel der Größe hatte ungefähr das gleiche bezahlt wie hierfür. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und man kann direkt davor parken. Die Lage ist in einem kleinen Städtchen, welches sehr zentral gelegen ist. Man ist schnell in Gent, Brügge oder Antwerpen.

Die Treppen zu den Obergeschossen sind etwas steil, aber das gehört zum Charakter des Hauses dazu.

No me gustó mucho que el baño estuviera justo abajo del todo y para ellos había que bajar demasiadas escaleras muy empinadas

De woning was ruim, zeer schoon, en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het interieur is leuk, super knus, en met liefde ingericht. Met een gezellig terrasje aan de keuken (ideaal voor de rokers 😉). Zeer rustige locatie. Echt een aanrader, we gaan hier zeker terug komen.

Er viel totaal niets tegen. Van de iets te steile trappen naar de verdiepingen en het enige toilet op de begane grond wisten we van te voren en hadden we dus ingecalculeerd.
