Accueil excellent , propreté et environnement

Cet appartement se situe un peu à l’écart de la ville dans un ensemble de résidence, dans un très grand parc. Cet ensemble est fermé et sécurisé.Les lieux sont très calmes et le chant des oiseaux enchanteur. L’appartement est petit mais très bien équipé, à part un petit plateau pour mettre nos tasses à café il ne manque rien. Ce qui fut remarquable c’est l’accueil de Silvia, elle parle français et elle est d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité incroyable. Ses conseils pour trouver un parking gratuit furent précieux. Conseils aussi pour visiter Varenna que nous n’avions pas prévu.

On a eu un petit problème avec la plaque à induction. Mais même á 21h Silvia et son époux sont venus pour résoudre ce problème. Je trouve cette disponibilité exceptionnelle. Pour trouver un défaut … c’est loin du centre et de l’embarcadère. Le parking qu’elle nous a conseillé est á 15 bonnes minutes de l’embarcadère. Conseil : aller á ce parking avant 9h après c’est plein !

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Silvia qui est très sympathique et nous a bien conseillés pour les visites dans la région. L'appartement est dans un résidence fermée avec parking sur place. Il est très bien aménagé et extrêmement propre. L'environnement est calme et il y a une belle vue sur le lac. Il faut 5 mn pour aller à Menaggio prendre le bateau pour visiter Bellagio et la très belle Varenna.

Il est difficile d'aller à Menaggio à pied car il y a peu de trottoirs , mais c'était indiqué dans l'annonce. Il faut juste 5 mn en voiture.

The host's controlling approach created a tense atmosphere that made it hard to enjoy our stay. During check-in, Silvia repeated the rules several times, and there are numerous printed reminders with extraordinary charges that she will request. It was super stressful to touch anything in the studio… Prior to arrival, we informed her that we no longer had a car. It would have been nice if she mentioned that a bus was available to reach the uphill studio. We arrived tired, carrying bags under 30-degree heat, and asked if check-in could be brief. She dismissed the request, saying she was tired too. At one point, she said my wife was aggressive, which was not the case, but we didn’t respond as she kept repeating that she had already informed a car was recommended. On the morning of my birthday, we played music and she rang our doorbell twice without waiting a minute for us to answer. She asked to turn off the volume without even saying good morning. Even if the volume was too loud for her, we believe the request could have been made in a more courteous manner. There is a binder filled with numerous printed pages, many of which weren’t useful. The transportation info simply tells guests to check online for bus times. The self-checkout info is included, but Silvia said we must notify her by 8 p.m. the night before departure so she could come in person and do an inspection. We were aware of the uphill location and amenities in advance, but believe it’s important for future guests to have a full picture of our experience. That’s the purpose of reviews.
