    Our 4th time at the Racha. It is starting to go down in quality. -there was construction all around us (as the hotel decided to put new roofs on the cabins during high season) -had a salad with a big dead bug in it -someone in the kitchen put a raw piece of ground beef into my hamburger -there are too many day trippers visiting the beach -our pool water was brown 1 day

    We stayed in a Junior Suite. The staff were very friendly, warm, and attentive throughout our stay, which made a great first impression. The beach is absolutely beautiful, with very clear water, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for relaxation. Breakfast was also enjoyable with a good variety of options. However, the room condition did not meet expectations for the price. The room felt slightly outdated, and several facilities were not in good condition. The jacuzzi bathtub had two control buttons, but only one was working, and there was black sediment coming out when it was turned on. The refrigerator was not working on the first day, and we also experienced a power outage on the second day. In addition, the Wi-Fi in the room was not very stable and disconnected from time to time. Cleanliness was average, as we noticed dust on the blinds and under the table mat. Overall, while the beach and ambiance were excellent, the room quality and maintenance need improvement, especially considering the price point.

    i rated everything 5 stars - it was truly such a delight staying at The Racha. the water here is incredibly clear, perfect for swimming, and honestly one of the highlights of the stay. just something to keep in mind - the main beach is also public, so you’ll see day-trippers during the day. that said, there’s another bay just a short walk (or quick scooter ride) away that feels much quieter and more private. both are equally beautiful, just different moods depending on what you’re looking for. the overall experience feels grand, peaceful, and very well thought out - it’s the kind of place you come to properly switch off. only a small note: some areas could use a bit of touch-up, you can tell parts of the property are slightly older. nothing that takes away from the experience, but worth mentioning. overall, a beautiful stay i’d absolutely recommend 🤍

    The hotel has a rule that if you want hot water bath, you need to turn the air-conditioner temperature below 22 and then wait for 20 minutes. The bath water in my room suddenly turned cold. The staff told me to wait and I had been waiting in the cold room for more than a hour. I couldn’t turn off the air-conditioner because the staff said an engineer will come and in order to have hot water, temperature needs to be below 22. I became sick and felt exhausted that night. The nurse is very responsive and she actually came to check on me the next day.
