Oikia Eleanthi - Beachfront Garden Home!

Our stay at Oikia Eleanthi was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything a family or a large group could possibly need. The garden right in front of the sea offers breathtaking views and pure relaxation, especially during sunset. The location in Mytikas is perfect—very close to Monolithi beach and just a short drive from Preveza. The host was incredibly welcoming, polite, and always ready to help. We highly recommend it and will definitely return for a longer stay.

Η διαμονή μας σε αυτό το κατάλυμα ήταν απλά συγκλονιστική και ξεπέρασε κάθε προσδοκία μας! Από την πρώτη στιγμή που μπήκαμε στο σπίτι, εντυπωσιαστήκαμε από την υποδειγματική καθαριότητα. Όλα κυριολεκτικά έλαμπαν και μοσχοβολούσαν. Ο χώρος είναι εξαιρετικά καλαίσθητος, με πανέμορφη διακόσμηση και πλήρως εξοπλισμένος με ό,τι μπορεί να χρειαστεί ένας ταξιδιώτης, από τις συσκευές της κουζίνας μέχρι το απίστευτα άνετο κρεβάτι που μας χάρισε έναν τέλειο ύπνο. Η τοποθεσία του σπιτιού είναι ιδανική και εξαιρετικά ασφαλής με εύκολη πρόσβαση στην σχεδόν "ιδιωτική" μας παραλία, προσφέροντας μας μια μαγευτική θέα στο Ιόνιο Πέλαγος. Το μεγαλύτερο όμως πλεονέκτημα ήταν η αυθεντική φιλοξενία της Έλενας. Ήταν ευγενέστατη, απαντούσε αμέσως σε κάθε μήνυμα και μας βοήθησε σημαντικά με τις φανταστικές τοπικές συμβουλές της για φαγητό και περιήγηση στην περιοχή. Κρίμα που δεν είχαμε περισσότερο χρόνο!! Προτείνουμε αυτό το μέρος ανεπιφύλακτα σε όλους και σίγουρα θα είναι η πρώτη μας επιλογή όταν επισκεφτούμε ξανά τη περιοχή!

Everything was really good! The house was really good, spacious, clean and with everything needed inside. The host was very helpful and very nice! We really had a perfect vacation and I really recommend!! Thank you Eleni and Anthi 🙋🏻‍♂️

The sea view could have been beautiful if we had not been forced to park our car in the yard, which blocked a significant part of it. The location itself has potential, and we initially chose the property because it advertised a nearby beach, two bathrooms, and an entire villa. Unfortunately, the beach turned out to be inaccessible due to damaged stairs, and the alternative beach access in the village was in the same condition. During nine days at the property, we could not access the local beach even once. The property was also not an entire villa but a ground-floor apartment with another rental unit above it. The upstairs terrace overlooks the entire yard, resulting in very little privacy. We also frequently heard footsteps, terrace activity, and other noise from upstairs. Because parking outside did not feel safe, we often had to park inside the yard, which further reduced our enjoyment of the outdoor space and sea view.

The advertised two bathrooms were actually one bathroom and two separate toilets, one extremely small, meaning three adults had to share a single shower. When we raised concerns about the inaccurate description, responsibility was repeatedly shifted elsewhere rather than addressed. The situation became worse when major renovation work started in the apartment above us, bringing days of drilling, hammering, cutting, and construction noise. We ultimately left four nights early despite having paid in full and received no refund. Additional issues included difficult parking, garbage bins located on another street, no recycling facilities, TVs only in the living room and one bedroom, non-functioning screen casting, spiders and webs on the terrace, and no cleaning service, towel changes, or bed linen changes during our stay. Because the weather was cold, we had to use the air conditioning for heating. One morning we woke up to find water on the bedroom floor caused by condensation from the unit. Our dog sleeps on the floor and spent the night in the damp area. Once the apartment was heated, a noticeable moldy smell also became apparent. We travel frequently and use Booking.com for most of our stays. We rarely leave negative reviews, but we felt we paid for features that were central to our booking decision yet either did not exist or were unusable, leaving us disappointed and unfairly treated.
