Excellent location for all the sights of Granada. Spacious apartment in an historic building.

The stairs were a health and safety nightmare. Each level contained antique chairs and artefacts rendering the area cluttered. It was very difficult to manage the luggage especially coming down as the furniture was a trip hazard. Should be kept clear in case of fire. There is an elevator but I cannot use them and prefer to use stairs. Also the bathroom needs a little updating. The shower in the bath was also a little difficult to use especially for people with mobility issues.

Absolutely nothing liked everything about the apartment

This beautiful apartment done in a sort of Belle Epoque style was a pleasure to stay in. It is very spacious and located in a lovely square with many restaurants around the square, and it's about 20 minute walk to the Alhambra and less to central Granada. The apartment has a 2- hob stove and a fridge, as well as a microwave. The host, Juan Manuel, was absolutely a responsive and understanding person, who clearly takes pride in and takes care of his property, and he was always available, helpful and friendly whenever I contacted him. My wife and I would certainly stay here again.

Although Juan Manuel was a very communicative and thoughtful host and wrote to me in English quite a few times before my arrival, but it turned out he could only speak Spanish or French when I got there, so we had to use translation programs and charades to communicate. I just feel this is important for future lodgers to know. Also important to know, especially for older folks, it's 700 meters somewhat uphill from the Socrates Parking Garage (if you are driving) to the apartment (which Juan Manuel recommends in the welcome message after you book). Both a washer and a dryer are available, but in a separate, locked room (The listing photos make one think the washer is in the apartment) at a cost of 3 Euros per dryer or washer load, and you have to contact Juan Manuel in order to gain access to the room. The price is certainly fair but one doesn't understand the process involved in the property information on Booking.com. Lastly, the air conditioner has no low fan speed.

It was perfectly central - excellent position

The apartment is tired and in need of some TLC. The kitchen area is a nonsense including the pathetic table and chairs, the TV screen no bigger than the average lap top, the bathroom in need of modernisation, perhaps new beds and bedding, some rugs on the floor. Perhaps the owner should stay there and experience the aspect from a customer angle?
