About this house rental
Built in 2002, this vacation home is nestled in the countryside between meadows and fields overlooking the Baltic Sea — with a small harbor and beach right outside your door.
Our home offers families with children plenty of space to enjoy their vacation just the way they want. The first floor features a living room, kitchen, and guest restroom. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and a
bathroom. The attic, with a view of the Flensburg Fjord in Denmark, is an ideal space for sleeping, reading, or playing games. Towels and bed linens are provided free of charge. On the two terraces with electric awnings, garden furniture and lounge chairs with cushions are available. In the garden, two swings and a spring rocker for children are available. Four high-quality bicycles are available for your use. A carport in front of the door is available for your car.
Shopping, doctors, and more: In the center of Langballig is a small shopping center—open 7 days a week during the summer months—with a supermarket, a bakery, a liquor store, and more, which is about a 3-minute drive away.
Here you’ll also find a wellness center with an adjacent pharmacy.
About 300 meters away, you can pick up fresh rolls in the morning from the vendor at the Langballigau harbor.
If there isn’t enough variety for shopping, head to the main road B 199 toward Flensburg. After about 10 minutes, you’ll have a choice of many stores and supermarkets.

Sports: For sailing enthusiasts, there’s a proper sailing school at the harbor in Langballigau. Anyone bringing a sailboat on vacation can easily launch it from the harbor. It’s a good idea to contact the harbor master before the start of your vacation to arrange for a berth.
You’ll find the best conditions for surfers at Holnis Beach (about 5 kilometers). There is a surf school offering a variety of surfing lessons for everyone.
For golfers, the Fjord Golf Club Glücksburg is right nearby.

The property exceeded our expectations. There is everything you need there for cooking and enjoying your time at the house. Playground, charcoal grill, coffee machine, washer/dryer, terrace garden with plenty of seating. The bedrooms were even nicer than the pictures. I believe the bedrooms have been renovated/updated since the photos, the 3rd bedroom has a huge bed now instead of pull-out-sofa. :) You can even see the sea from the master bedroom.
The area is gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful. The location is just a short walk to the beach and a few local restaurants. Grocery store is just a short drive.
We loved visiting this home and would definitely come back.

Hi, we came over from Dublin for a 10 day holiday in Langballigau, got the connection thru the internet, and wow what a great time. The 'Haus mit Herz' filled all our expectations, everything,very clean, every comfort is there from the kitchen-very modern, to the living room with flat-screen,DVD player with films for when the weather is'nt so pleasent.
Bike's as well for having a look around-which is a good idea,great place also for long walks on the beach, which is right at the front door.Pub is nearby ( walking distance) Supermarkt as well, so just do it, you won't regret.
