Winter getaway.
Easy to find on Google maps. Lovey quiet setting in the village of Clondalkin. Plenty of parking in the multi storey complex next to the hotel. Plenary of choice on the breakfast menu and in the evenings on the dinner menus which can change daily. There is no longer a swimming pool instead they have a conference centre. The hotel and bedroom was clean and plenty of space for hanging our clothes and tea/coffee facilities in the room also. The staff were friendly.
I know February is early Spring and for some people still Winter but the radiator in our bedroom was piping hot. After the first night I turned the dial from 4 to 2 but nothing changed, the following day I turned it to off but it was still piping hot when we arrived back later that day.
There was not even a small window we could leave open only a ceiling to floor wall to wall large patio style windows and sliding door which obviously we could not leave open overnight.
Also, my husband and I both found the double bed uncomfortable. It was hard and lumpy, the pillows were not comfortable either. I ended up lying on top of the duvet and pulled out the extra blanket provided for a cover- even that blanket was not soft but kind of itchy. But I slept better on the duvet that 2nd night.

No customer service, no response to complaints
The room was comfortable and clean, location was good since we needed to be in the area for appointments the next day, parking on-site was free, the food was tasty and quick and we spent a couple of hours having drinks in the bar, which was all very pleasant.
We had a horrendous night's sleep due to other guests running up and down the corridors, shouting at each other and into their mobile phones. It was relentless for hours, from 1am until about 4am. Then the music and loud TV in the rooms continued. I phoned Reception to complain and they said they'd send someone up. Nobody came up to the floor to check anything out. The noise continued. I phoned Reception again an hour later but nobody replied, then the phone just went unanswered from then on. On checkout the following day, I again raised it with the Receptionist and let her know of the terrible night's sleep - she had very little interest in my dissatisfaction. I therefore emailed the hotel when I arrived home. I got no response. I followed up three more times by email but got no response whatsoever. I called and the Receptionist advised that the email I used was correct and went straight to the Managers but they were now off for the bank holiday weekend. She promised someone would get back to me on Tuesday. That's a week ago, still no response, despite one more attempt by email on my part. I'm shocked that I'm just being ignored! Numerous emails and phone calls and the management don't think I'm worthy of a telephone call or email. Horrendous customer service, really lets the hotel down.

Room very cold, powers went, but they fixed it and gave us another room: had to pay for extra towels

Good service, child friendly.
It was clean and welcoming. Although the room was cold when we arrived, the heating in the room warmed it up quickly. My kids loved the space. The room was big and very spacious. Loved it.
I’m not a fan of Clondalkin, but the interior of the hotel made me forget it.

Okay stay
Breakfast very good
We could not buy a drink , no residence bar.
Poker tournament was on and they had a bar which I think was really bad business that residents could not buy a drink

Functional, served our needs but not up to minimal standards. Good value for €114.00
Convenience, close to M50, Bed comfortable
Didnt have breakfast
very basic, sink very slow drainage, rubbish bin not emptied, bed clothes damp.
Accomodation paid for on line,
Disliked night staff demanding credit card details or €100 cash

I felt like I was in a hospital room
The location was perfect for me
Everything about the hotel feels cheap. The towels, the lack of toiletries, not even a shower cap but most of all the lino on the bedroom floor was the ultimate in cheap

ALL GOOD!
Great pint of Guinness, Lovely (reasonably priced) cocktails and a very tasty steak sandwich. The staff we came in contact with were all excellent....very polite and welcoming!
The room was very average for a 4 star hotel. Stayed in a Travelodge the night before and the room was easily as nice!
Unable to sleep due to very loud music late into the night. Rested in car for a while

Absolutely horrendous
Lol i liked that i got an answer from reception at 3am in the morning when the room next door was pumping music. Il give you that much!
The noise levels from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Pumping music and loud voices from outside, further noise from people coming off the lifts and kids roaming and knocking on doors. Worst part, paper thin walls, room next to us had a group in the room. Woke my 11 yr old daughter and I through the night with music, shouting and what sounded like a sex party. I will never stay here again. We stay regularly in Dublin. A first and a last to stay here.

Basic, OK for a quick overnight
Bed was comfortable.
Bathroom facilities were a poor standard, shower controls were broken along with drain. The sink fosset was very noisy when in use and also was difficult to turn from hot to cold.
Bedroom itself was very basic.
Facilities overall were not up to a 4 star standard

Great beds for supportive sleep!
Beds were exceptionally comfortable.
Appreciated coffee in the room, as well a a hairdryer in a drawer near a big mirror (I.e., not in the bathroom).
Close to highway, so constant irregular sound of cars/vehicles. Had to use white noise app to counter the sound outside the room.
No exhaust fan in the bathroom to mitigate steam build up during shower (or when pooping).

Definitely not a 4 star hotel
Room had a sliding door to the balcony which rattled and made noise all night from a draft.

OK but I prefer somewhere quieter with air conditioning.
Nice staff.
Excellent breakfast
Bed comfort was great.
The room was cold on arrival. They said the heating does not come on until 6pm but importantly did offer to change the room to one with heat. Ironically the next morning the while still in bed I was too hot and there is no air conditioning. The excellent double glazed window kept traffic noise out (I was the relatively quiet side of the building) but it would be noisy with the window open.
You can't just have one bedside lamp on, only both or none.

Great hotel.
Was great overall. . Good meal. Breakfast on the expensive side
Bar staff are too slow. Lots there but all doing everything but serving. Seemed to be only capable of taking one order at a time.

Excessive Noise
Ease of Access to motorways
Unfortunately the rooms on either side of us were very noisey after 10.30pm, one room was like a bunch of young people having a party the other was TV blaring loud with a football match. The TV was so loud we could clearly hear the commentators give their review of players performance. We rang Reception 4 times to have the situations sorted and it took 1 1/2 hours+ before someone attended the party room where it took at least 5 minutes for them to get an answer at the door. Even though the room was good value it wasn't worth loosing a nights sleep.

Great staff, clean throughout and good breakfast
Fast check in, extremely helpful front desk staff, who guided us with information and directions. We had to ring up late as we got stuck in the city and were struggling to get a taxi back from the city centre, the night staff did their utmost to secure a taxi for us. Breakfast was lovely again staff were so friendly and helpful. Clean hotel, the bed was very comfortable. We had a great stay and would recommend.

It was generally very pleasant and convenient to where we were going the following day
Room was very clean. Bed quite comfortable
The noise level from the N7 all night.
Being told that you had to pay an extra €100 just incase there were room damages. Don't know if its been returned to my account.

All good but
Everything was good except room. We are 3 senior citizens had a triple room. There was only one beside lamp. This was very bad having to get up in the night for bathroom could have caused a fall in the dark. The one who used the bathroom the most was given the bed with the lamp. However one of us likes to read before sleep. No switch at other beds for main light. However the hotel was nice and dinner was good. I would be wary booking again due to room.
Only one lamp in triple room. This proves difficult to get to bathroom in dark.

Breakfast ok
Bedrooms - very long walk to bedroom
Breakfast - decent cold buffet selection, some tea cups had chips, no milk jugs on table or at tea station.
Hot food - the . selection, dried up and cold. Some staff just dumped replenish food on top of old food. Second day we waited till food was replenished to go up and get it.
Dinner - ate out the first night ar local restaurant and had a fabulous meal, service and extremely value for money. However that cannot be said for the hotel.
They has carvery, a la carte and children menu. Looked at carvery and it looked very unappealing. So opted for the ala carte menu.
I decided on the starter vol au vent and side of chips. 10.00 for starter and 4 for chips. I got a hot plate with dried balsamic dressing and one medium size vol au vent with a table spoon of filling and a small bowl of chips. I was extremely disappointed, the cost didn't reflect what I received. I ate in disbelief.
One if the children had garlic bread and goujons and chips, a plate with two small dried out garlic bread and another plate with some chips and 3 over cooked goujons. Again over priced for what was received .
The other child askedfor plain pasta with sauce on side and garlic bread. They brought down the dried pasta from the carvery. They did change it to what was ordered. Again for the cost, the quality it not match what was received.
Kids dessert - 3.50 choice of brownie or 2 scoops of icecream (3 flavours to choose). One of the children asked for the brownie with chocolate icecream instead of vanilla, to my shock it was an extra 1.00 for a small scoop of iccream.
Definitely will not be dining again !
Staff were extremely busy, but a smile, nod or hello costs nothing.

I would be very slow to stay again in the green isle
I had to pay 200 deposit on arrival which I didn’t know about. It left me 200 down on my spending money for the weekend trip with my family so that was very disappointing.
Security approached my 14 year old son in the bar as he was having dinner with we were a group of 8. We had three rooms two booked under my name. They wanted him to go to bed as he was clearly under 18. The staff didn’t ask either me or his father but spoke to our son directly. This unacceptable behaviour and we felt bullied. We had ordered the food around 8.40 and he felt rushed to finish his dinner. We travel a lot around Ireland and never before had to deal with this problem

Location very good for our requirements.
Food and facilities were very good.
Pity there isn’t a pool some photos on line suggest there is. But on asking there hasn’t been one in 5 years.

Nice place but ruined by noisy drunk guests at night
The staff were really excellent. The room was clean and comfy. The restaurant was nice and well priced
We were woken every night by noisy, drunk guests in the bedroom corridors. Also a little of shouting and noise when people were waiting outside for taxis. On the last night, drunk teenage guests set off the fire alarm.
Based on that I would not stay again
