We liked the rooms. Lots of attention to details with old antiques on display. The host opened the garage across the street so we could park and charge our electric bikes.

An amazing, quaint hotel and one of the best experiences of my entire Camino. When I arrived after walking 20 miles that day, I rang the bell and received the warmest welcome from the owner. He immediately offered me a cold beer, which felt like the greatest gift after such a long day of walking. He recommended an absolutely amazing place for dinner and had a wonderful breakfast setup waiting in the morning. The room itself was extraordinary. I loved the windows, especially the beautiful balcony-style windows, the armoire, and all the carefully chosen antique details. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the pillows were perfect, and I slept like a baby. I could hardly believe the design of the hotel. Although it had clearly been beautifully restored and remodeled, the owners had preserved its essence, its history, and its sense of being grounded in another time. Nothing felt generic or overdone. The old and the new had been brought together with such care. I was honestly envious of the style and found myself wanting to bring some of that same warmth, authenticity, and sense of place into the experience I create for guests at my own property, Sand Creek RV Park in torrey, Utah by Capital Reef National Park. The price was remarkably reasonable for such beautiful accommodations and such a personal experience. I would genuinely return to this town simply to stay at this hotel again. It was one of the most memorable, authentic, and welcoming stays of my entire Camino. Everyone walking the Camino should stay here. I loved the owner, the room, the history, the atmosphere, and every part of the experience.
