The Salmar - Adults Only

I’d recommend it. I have a nice sea vie on the top floor. The room was huge. But it’s very windy, so I couldn’t stay on a balcony unfortunately. I guess it’s windy there all the time. Nice breakfast. Hotel needs renovation, but location and view makes it better. Many restaurants around, supermarket. Chinese restaurant is good.

No parking. But I was lucky to find free parking along the street.

Very relaxed and informal . Good food

The room size was incredible and comfy, with a large bed and several extra chairs to sit own. The view from the room was breathaking. I found everything I needed in the room - from the fridge, to what was in the bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were both phenomenal - with varied menus each day, and gorgeous places to sit and eat. Especially the outdoor section, which gives a stunning view of the sea and coast. It's the kind of thing you see in travel photos, but finally get to experience.

The bathroom floor had a bit of a contour that collected water, which lingered long after a shower. Also, when you placed the room key card in the slot to power the room, there was sometims a subtle but noticeable buzz. This was fixed by removing the card. Minor incovneniences though. The key card itself didn't register immediately sometimes when used on the lock.

Good room on ground floor.

Evening meal not at all up to standard. Burgers on the menu? For the money the hotel was better under Vincci. The outdoor furniture was cracked and in a poor state
