Away from the maddening crowds of tourists! Once you learn the use of community van transport linking with SITA buses to/fro Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento, Ravello, this is excellent place. Nearby a large and excellent restaurant with unmatchable affogoto, and also nearby a Michelin starred restaurant within gorgeous settings of previous monastery-turned-hotel. Salvatore could not be a better host! Elevator available and rooms have responsive fan/air con and breakfasts are great, including fresh fruit and fresh-squeezed OJ. Ocean views from room/balcony and from front patio are beautiful! Would stay again and do plan to. Reason for not 5 stars for everything is the trade-off for location away from transfer hub of Amalfi city center, and for showers being small, though bigger than on cruise ships and does have large tub with hand-held showerhead next to shower enclosed cubicle; you should sit in tub or on inner ledge of tub as tub is open without curtains.
