This hotel exceeded my expectations. Our room was wonderful and kept clean the entire stay. Our view was amazing with a very large balcony for our Jr Suite. It was shared with two other rooms but we never saw them, so it worked out great for all. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was good and the restaurant provided one of the best meals we had in Amalfi. The location was good with hotel providing a shuttle up until 8 pm. I would highly recommend Hotel Belvedere.
I would have liked a private balcony. Though it never caused a problem, we could never walk out in night attire.

A true hidden gem. Amazing value for money. Breathtaking views, the smell of the sea and pines, retro interiors that add to the character and vibe kf rhis classic Amalfi coast hotel. I hope they wont renovate it and keep up the classic 60s style interior.
Great service, cuisine and own beach which os never crowded and feels private and prestigious. There is a very nice restaurant nearby that offers a free shuttle service. The hotel can arrange a booking for you.
I hope the rates don't go up by too much, cause we will definitely be back!
Ants on the balcony were a bit annoying, but that is a very minor distraction

Large terrace with gorgeous coastal views. Great breakfast and dinner. Wonderful Pool area and private access to sea platform for swimming in fabulous azure sea. Extremely friendly and helpful staff especially Guiseppe who dealt with our every request.
Nothing really but perhaps a modern update of the decor and furniture but not essential.

Stunning views and great location. Wonderful staff except for Hotel Manager and older Bartender
In particular the shuttle driver Gaetano was absolutely wonderful, always ready to help and looking after us the best he could. Also the head Waiter was exceptionally good and treated us very well.
All the staff except the two individuals were absolutely wonderful and it is a shame that two bad apples spoiled our stay.
Our room was on the ground floor and the acoustics were horrible we could hear people next door talking, we could hear chairs being moved above us and the last night in particular our next door occupants woke us up at 1:15 AM and kept us awake most of the night. I had to bang hardly on my door to make them stop. Those rooms have absolutely no sound insulation and I would have expected much better for the price paid.
I also would like to cite the fact that the older Bartender refused to make me tea because he was busy. More upsetting was the fact that when I reported it to the Hotel Manager he did not do anything about it.
Further when I told the Hotel Manager about the noise he answered that I should have alerted them earlier.
They knew that the sound propagation is a problem at least in the ground floor and we should have been given a different room from the onset.
