Nice stay in Fassbind Geneva

Location was good, breakfast had a lot of variety and the staff (especially annas) was very helpful. That you get free public transport with your stay was a nice bonus.

Hotel was a bit dated. And as all hotels in Geneva, the price is higher than normal for a hotel stay.

Relaxed and streamlined.

The staff were very helpful, there was a bus stop right outside the hotel, the rooms were very clean and well prepared. Don’t get me started on the breakfast!

Friendly staff great location but could do better.

Good location, accessible to public transport links, friendly staff

When we arrived the toilet was continuously running the staff stated they couldn't do anything that evening but if we were happy to wait they would fix it while we were out during the next day. We came back after the next day to find that there was still an issue. They said they would look at it again the following day and if not allow us to move rooms. We came back again to find the toilet was still running but as we only had 2 days left we decided to stay in the same room even though the toilet was still running as we didn't want the hassle of having to repack our things. I appreciate we got given the offer to move however it shouldn't have been the case in the first place and this is just more of an annoyance rather than a complaint. Room wasn't overly clean under the bed was very dirty our socks were black and after walking around the room. The drains in the bathroom smelt which was quite unpleasant. The parking was quite expensive too for 1 night we paid around 35CHF agreed this was very convenient being at the hotel but just quite pricey. I wouldn't say this was a terrible place to stay as the staff were friendly and the location was good but for the money we paid I expected alot more than this hence the passable mark.

Great location outwith city centre

Free travel pass for all modes of transport from hotel. Great location. Just 15 mins on airport bus that you get at the end of the road and 3 or 4 stops to the city centre. Receptionist so helpful with regards to suggestions on things to do and loaning us adaptor plugs and giving us fresh milk for our tea :) Beds really comfy. Room cleaned each day.

Reasonable!

The location of the hotel is great is about 5-8 mins walk from the bus/tram station! Facilities within the hotel was also great. One of the few hotels that provides, iron, iron board and kettle!

Unfortunately, the washroom had a pungent smell. But we couldn’t be bothered to change the room as we were too tired and it didn’t affect the room. Even the lobby area had that lingering smell

Quite comfy bed and good overall facilities. Spacious room. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom not very clean, shower a bit dodgy and the plug was blocked and stank.

Good value, service, and location, would hope the smell gets better

Really liked the room, it was very spacious, which was surprising as most hotels are smaller. Also, the service at the front desk was great. The woman that checked us in was super friendly.

There was a weird smell when you walked in and I think whatever that was made it up our sink in the morning - it was not a nice smell. Additionally, if you don’t open the window, the room is super hot, but we faced the street so if we did, we got the road noises, and I’m just a lighter sleeper so it doesn’t help.

we did not eat breakfast at hotel as it is too expensive. we expected to use hotel parking lots, but it was not available during our stay fir 4 days. finding a parking lot was terrible experience. it took min 1 hour to search a lot in the street at nights.

no available parking lot despite it was not informed once booking. when I arrived at hotel, the receiption told us there is no free parking lot in the hotel

Excellent. A clean and well-furnished room in a good location.

CHECK IN: A young lady who made very effort to welcome my partner and I at the hotel by helping us place our bikes and bike luggage into storage well before check-in time at 11am. She printed the tramway times as well as a free public transport travel pass for the day.

CHECK OUT: A guy who spent the whole time on his mobile (with a friend or family?) while we checked out. He only briefly removed his mobile from his ear to accept our key card and to say thank you — no questions asked. Then, as we we finally left, I had to actually appraoach the counter to say goodbye. In my opinion not a good way to see off your paying clients.

Centric hotel, spacious room if going with your family.

The room was very spacious for a family of 3, the hotel’s location was centric close to the tram.

One night the air conditioning was not working properly and there was a plumbing problem in our bathroom. For the value of the stay we never had any issue with plumbing while traveling.

This is our second stay, we would stay here every time!

Our room had great air conditioning, my daughter’s (305) had some air conditioning, but not quite as good. The staff are incredible! Highest marks available for them! Thank you for the availability of electric plugs and fans at the front desk.

Seemed a bit too expensive for the breakfast. Difficult shower hot/cold faucet in room 103.

Family room is reasonably sized, room was always cool when the weather is hot. Location is very accessible via public transport.

The entrance has a short flight of stairs, can be difficult for guests with heavy bags or guest requiring wheelchair access.

The room was big enough for two people, nice comodities, good wifi, comfortable. Nice shower (pressure and temperature). restaurants and cafes around.

a bit far from the centre, if going by walk. there was some hair in the shower when we arrived and only 1 bath towel. When we asked for another towel at the reception, they gave face towels and said they had no stock left of bath towels.

Most of the staff were helpful and very friendly. Beautiful and clean hotel. Decent breakfast. Good location to walk everywhere yet quiet location.

Little help regarding giniving information regarding where your rooms located. I had to go 3 times up and down to find my room and then after asking the receptionist. He is just careless, responding, " take other lift," where he could have told us at the beginning to spare the hot ride up and down the life with 5 pieces of luggage.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and perfect for our family of three. The hotel location was also great and quite close to downtown, so commuting was very easy.
