The hotel is in a great location. It is close to stores and restaurants. The room was big for an older hotel. We had a bedroom section and an area with a desk and wardrobe. The bathroom was roomy but there was a large step up. A grab bar would be helpful.
We had problems with the safe. They replaced the battery but it still didn’t work. We were busy every day and didn’t try again and the person from the office who changed the battery didn’t report it.

Beautiful family-owned hotel, both outside and inside, with tasteful design. Very close to great sights in Braunschweig.

Location was amazing.
Friendly check in staff. Good breakfast.
Dripping noises from heating at night.
Mold in the bathroom. Slopy bed and uncomfortable pillows.
