Location and cleanliness were very good

Our friends had to move hotels as the air conditioning on one floor wasn’t working during a heatwave week. They offered fans but that wasn’t going to cut it. Wasn’t their fault.

The hotel was in the perfect location. Right next to the Luxembourg Gardens, so in the morning I could buy breakfast at a shop nearby and spend my morning there. I was able to get that "authentic" Paris experience because it was still a 10-20 minute walk from the major tourist places. There are two bus stops only a 2-minute walk away, which made going to the bars super easy and safe. The room is on the smaller side, but that's expected in Paris. It was super cute and super clean. And all the staff were so extremely sweet and pleasant. Would 1,000 percent stay there again.

Great location.

As often in Europe an older building means no soundproofing and constant noise from fellow guests moving around, talking, slamming doors. Hard to relax and rest.

Simple rooms, great location. Nice bathroom

I originally booked two quiet single rooms. We were allocated rooms looking into an internal concrete stairwell with the concrete near to the window (see photo). We were told the other rooms available were ground floor, but we did not feel able to open the window at night for security issues. After informing them that we would prefer to leave they called their manager and 30 minutes later at 30 euros plus each two rooms upstairs - one with a view of the Pantheon. The bathroom was nice but there was a window vent that couldn’t be closed and as it was cold and frosty outside, the temperature of the bathroom was cold.
