A real taste of NOrmandy set in an historic and lush environment

Good room with very comfortable bed. Substantial restaurant with incredibly creative food - as a walker I could have done with a bit more substantial dinner but it was delicious. The village is delightful.

My biggest issue was Storm Benjamin - which is really not the hotel’s problem - made the walk to. ont St Michel extremely wet and difficult. Without a car it is also challenging to get to the hotel from the train station. Book a taxi before especially if you getting the evening train. Big shout out to the MsM bus driver who called a taxi for me

The restaurant meals were great a little limited in chose. The young man that served gave great customer service. Parking free but not secure

Reception and breakfast staff not very helpful very abrupt and everything was an effort. Property advertised a lift but only went up one floor. The room was very noisy from the hotel kitchen staff movements.

Great food in a quiet hotel but avoid the ground floor room

Modern and comfortable hotel ideally located near Mont Saint Michel. The restaurant on site was amazing, both for dinner (options and food quality) and breakfast. There is also a space for kids to play next to the dining room, which was perfect

Our room (ground floor with view on the field) had a horrible (chemical) smell. The staff checked and confirmed but couldn't do anything about it and hotel was fully booked. We had to sleep the whole night with the window open and even then it was tough. The next day the manager admitted he knew of the issue and had already tried fixing it, to no avail. So really that room shouldn't be made available, especially for a family with a toddler and a pregnant woman. No gesture was made

Clean room but disappointing stay.

Clean, pleasant room

We were left waiting 15 min to check in, not sure if understaffed, but we were seen, barely acknowledged and then ignored for 15 min. Not a great first impression. Dinner in the restaurant which had been highly reviewed was disappointing. Expensive, very hot inside with no air conditioning being used and our chicken burgers were cold, and the fries limp as if microwaved.

Wonderful stay to visit the Mont Saint Michel!

Great place to stay when visiting the Mont Saint Michel! We spent 1 night there with my boyfriend, we had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and breakfast the next morning was great too + the staff was very nice. Very peaceful location, surrounded by nature. We rented bikes from the hotel to go to the Mont Saint Michel the next day, it was really great - I definitely recommend it!

We heard a little bit of noise (people talking and listening to music) from a room close to us at night but it didn't last long.

The staff was reasonably friendly

It's a 3 star hotel with delusions of being a 5 star. Meals were pretentious and poor in quality but very expensive. The bread was stale and the chicken bland but was served with the pomp of a michelin style restaurant. The staff, though reasonably friendly, was not particularly accommodating with tips or assistance with regards to transport, which was frustrating, considering that the place is in the middle of nowhere. Instead, they leased me a rusty old bicycle with shoddy gears for 20 euros to get around. My "double" bed was just 2 single beds pushed together with a double bed sheet over them, which was uncomfortable. Overall the place is alright but would benefit either from a bit of modesty or put its money where its mouth is and improve its amenities so that they reflect the level of class and distinction it pretends to have.

Overall a very comfortable night’s stay and staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast was lovely.

We had a ground floor suite that was adequate for a family of 4. It had one double bedroom with en-suite shower and basin and vanity unit and a separate toilet in the main living area. The kids had two single beds made up in the lounge/ living area. The accommodation was clean and perfectly suited for one night’s stay. The breakfast was amazing and probably the best we have had throughout our whole journey through Spain and France. Lovely restaurant but be warned, very tailored to haute cuisine and not child friendly menus! Luckily plenty of restaurants in nearby village to suit younger taste buds. Although had the children not been with us, we would have greatly enjoyed the meal I’m sure.

The shower wall tiles were fine but the floor tiling looked dirty and lots of black mould. Could do with a bit of attention. The shower holder was not height adjustable so couldn’t wash hair unless holding the shower head but perfect for a quick freshen up. As a family of 4 it was a good size but always feel with any of these hotels they are never dedicated family rooms just converted to suit and for the money we pay just doesn’t feel great value.

location: close to the mont st michel. view of the mont st michel from the second floor. very quiet and peaceful surroundings. close to a panorama view of the entire mont st michel region, very beautiful. free and spaceous parking, with access to EV charger. easy access to safe bike routes to mont st michel.

-reception by the staff was definitely cold compared to previous hotels with similar ratings we had just stayed at on our vacation. -the faucets in the bathroom (bath, lavatory) didnt function properly. they generated a very loud noise (because of wear and tear I guess?) like a drill all throughout the evening and night which could only be silenced by turning all of them in just the right way, which didnt prevent the loud noises from coming back after a while, even in the middle of the night. the plumbing could use a thorough checkup. not something to expect in even the cheapest room in a 3 star hotel.

The dessert - raspberry chocolate wth hibiscus granita was the best dessert I've ever eaten! Breakfast was very good. Lots of options. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful when we encountered transportation difficulties.

Our trip was for the purpose of visiting MSM. When we arrived on the last train there was no transportation available to the property. We wandered the town and got a local to help call the property. The hotel staff went above and beyond to very help finally secure transportation but we were stranded for over an hour. Let your guests know that transportation in the area is very difficult! There is NO UBER. No routine public transport. Only taxi's that need to be booked in advance. Luggage storage at MSM difficult. Although some of thes issues do not originat with the property, guests will appreciate this information.

The main reason I booked this hotel is for their description which is “The hotel provides a shuttle service between the hotel and Dol de Bretagne TGV staion, Saint Malo TGV station, Dinah’s and Rennes Saint Jacques Airport.” BUT, they don’t. There are no public transportations to there. I paid over a hundred euros for the taxi. They should correct this because this is an important and essential information when we choose a hotel.
