Room achieved what i wanted for a short stay but on reflection i wouldn't stay again

Abysmal never again

Absolutely nothing it was awful

Dirty, rude staff only the gent on reception the lady was pleasant. Bathroom door jammed shut, hairs in the bath, bed was so small and uncomfortable. We left within 30 min if that of being there. Our room smell so awful and stale too

Basic for fhe cost

Reception staff very friendly.

Having to ring to get in after night out. Room was basic for the price. No bath. Bits on carpet, needed a deep clean. Having to leave the key at reception felt like a school child

Great stay in a great location with very nice staff.

Location is fantastic and staff were very helpful. We were advised of potential noise from the any events when we booked however the noise was no issue at all. I could not hear any sound of the functions that were being held.

bed was super comfy.

no bulb in hall light, lamp didnt work (or bulb had gone), no full length mirror, no hairdryer although staff did bring one up. didnt like having to ring a phone number to be let in.

Couples Saturday night out

We were looking for a reasonably priced room on a Saturday night in the city - my wife found this gem on booking & it was half the price of most other places & what a find Clean - lovely building - great staff - ideal location

Great place for the price

The hotel staff were friendly. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom had a roll top bath so had a lovely bubble bath in the morning. For the price it was excellent and we had no complaints whatsoever. We will stay again when we're in Liverpool.

A lovely place to stay at a great price and ideal for the IOM ferry terminal

It was a really attractive property. The room and bathroom were large and the decor great. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Lovely stay and would definitely stay here again.

A lovely room with tea and coffee facilities. Nice bathroom, with fluffy towels. The bed was very comfy. It was lovely listening to the church bells in the morning from our room. The staff were very welcoming.

Nothing to dislike at all, the only downside was that we didn't have a view and looked at a wall but this wasn't a problem as we were only booed in for one night.

Good location

Room carpet looked like it needed cleaning or replacing. The place in general looks like it hasn’t been upgraded in a long time. The room next to us a couple were rowing until 3am in the room and the hallways which isn’t the hotels fault but wish they had done something or even asked us how our stay was when we checked out so we could have mentioned it

Excellent location and impressive building/property.

Felt like rooms were crammed together in the building. The lift was old and creaky, which gave the sense it wasn’t as safe as it should be. The hotel had an event on which meant the rule of having to hand in / collect doors keys all the time was tricky when staff were rarely at reception - although they did arrive promptly when we manually made the front door buzzer go off to get their attention. The biggest issue was the furnishings in the room. One table (with the kettle) was really wobbly/slanted and almost useless and the bed had missing feet and a sunken mattress. We also had to run the shower for almost 10mins before the hot water kicked in.

Comfortable bed, friendly staff

No other facilities other than room! No lounge or bar to use, no option of breakfast. Room very depressing decor, nothing like the promotion photos . Could have stayed in premier inn for same facilities and cheaper!
