Cottage La Sierra with JACUZZI

The area is spectacular. the cottage is in remote place although close to Korenica where you can find shops and restaurants. It was absolutely quiet to the point where we could hear the wings fo the birds flapping. For an off the grid experience it si the perfect place, nature around, a good place to set base for exploring the area. A good outside area to spend time. Hot tub is good addition to be used to cool down. Cottage although small was big enough to what we needed.

Not sure if it was really just our case as we only had brief contact through whatasapp with the host, but although advertised and promissed, Wi-fi was not available at all. as explained it was under repair ... In early comments about the location we saw that the host met and greeted the guests, again maybe for completely good reasons, this did not happen with us and communication was quite hard at points as answers were comming very slowly. The cottage is absolutely great but would need some repairings and upgrades as it looks like they haven't been done in quite a while. Also cleanliness of the inside could be handled a bit better. ( I mean for when the guests check in, after taht obviously its the guests risponsibility how clean they keep it during their stay) As improvement I would suggest for summer time installing removable insect nets on at least two of the windows, as the cottage has no insulation, it gets extremly hot during the day you need open windows to be able to sleep well, although it does get colder in the morning. Another suggestion is that at least during summer, for guest stay longer than 2-3 days, a second set of bedding should be provided. Hot tub would need new filter and probably clorine. it is not enough to just change the water before new quests arrive. I would also suggest reviewing the list of facilities that are available for this specific cottage. there is a sister cottage on the property, and i assume that when both of them were posted, everything was just copy pasted, but not everything is actually available at both palces As i said, wi-fi was not available, other top of the list things are no TV or radio (although we enjoyed time without it, there might be people who would liek to have it if it is advertised as available), no storage for clothes, Some kithchen ameneties are available, but unless you use only microwave, it is hard to actually cook something.

A great spot for a total relax. Cottage was peaceful and comfortable and the jacuzzi a nice touch. A good base to visit Plitvice from, around 15-20 min drive from entrance 2.
