We had a lovely stay at House Mrzlin Grad. The room and accommodation had a characteristic charm and beautiful views. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and paid great attention to detail. As we were setting off early for Plitvice Lakes, they prepared our breakfast the night before to take it with us – the food was nice, locally and very generous for the price. Guests receive a discount at the on-site bistro, La Ursula, which serves delicious, sustainable food sourced from local farmers. Out of all the places we visited in Croatia (Split, Supetar, Bol, Hvar and Dubrovnik), this was by far our favourite!

Property was lovely. Great room with loads of room and in a fantastic setting.

The staff at Mrzlin Grad were the most friendly people! They really made us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay, the room was perfect for what we needed and the swimming pool was very clean too. The food was the best part!! Pretty much all local ingredients and the owner would even point to where certain herbs were cut from etc around the property, the bear ravioli is a MUST! It is a seasonal menu. The property is set in a beautiful setting of mountains and hills and the restaurant has a view over onto the countryside and mountains. Thank you so much for such an amazing stay, we will definitely be coming back again.
