The breakfast was divine. The gardens and grounds were beautiful and fun to wander around, and the outside kitties were delightful!
A bit on the pricy side, but breakfast made up for that.

The view and the staff

The owner and staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was beautifully presented.
The place needs redecorating, it is quite shabby. The woodwork in the bedroom and bathrooms was dirty. We expected the inn to be modelled on a 1920's theme as that is how it is listed, however, the place looks like a junk shop, overly cluttered with old relics, (some of which, such as the communal area sofas, need recovering with clean upholstery).
The breakfast was full of sugar, even the yogurt and fruit had had honey added to it.

Breakfast was spectacular. Staff super great !!
Grounds were under repair and a bit unsightly. They need to clean up after ducks more often and wipe down outside tables everyday. Cleaning the windows would be a bonus.

Breakfast is pretty nice, except that some of the foods were either too salty or too sweet.
no dinner / foods available in the evening, no hot water or necessary cooking equipment available in the house, not convenient enough.

Stayed 5 nites. Comfortable bed, room. Vintage bath with updates. Quiet - absolutely no noise from guests, staff or neighborhood was heard in our room. Friendly and competent staff. Interesting interior decor appropriate to era and home's specific history. Excellent formal breakfast - best ever. Common rooms and covered porch were pleasant to look at and comfortable. Had several early morning quick breakfasts on the porch.
House / mansion setting is in a prominent setting at the top of hill overlooking mainstreet. Approach to home is dramatic, exterior in excellent shape. Mature plantings.
Nice arrival experience, drive up to property, gate procedure, easy and plenty of parking, directions to front and especially the staff greeting. All directions spelled out simply and completely for tired travelers to successfully negotiate.
Staff put out nice cold breakfast on mornings we left for Yosemite before scheduled breakfast. 9:15 AM breakfast time is designed for a leisurely mornings maximizing time in this enjoyable setting.
The landscaping is being renewed on one side. Majority of grounds in very good condition. Nice plantings including many rosebeds which were in bloom, nice lawn and trees. On northeast side a major landscaping upgrade is on going to add a very spacious tiered patio area which will be impressive when complete. The workmen were out of the way but naturally there was some construction material, tools and equipment around. Was not bothered by any construction noise.

This was a home away from home. I’m from the east coast and coming here felt like home. Food was absolutely fantastic.
There was nothing I didn’t like about this place

The home and grounds were beautiful. The Inn was built in 1927 and has character charm. Our room was beautifully furnished and felt luxurious. Our breakfast was incredibly delicious and so beautifully served. Rhonda was a fabulous host and has a real love for her Inn.
Nothing.

The breakfast and entire experience was wonderful. We loved it. The food was delicious and I really loved dinnerware sets.
Bit cold in a breakfast room but I guess the house is pretty old, not sure how much can do about it. Would love to see fire place on in the leaving room area. It would have been nice if it was on. Dust ceiling chandelier

The breakfast(two courses meal) was excellent even though it was too sweet for us. The owner and staff were very nice and all furniture is antique and there are lots of interesting collections throughout the hotel. The hotel was on the top of the hill and has a nice town view from the rooms.
The children's bed was not as comfortable as adults'.

The B&B was built in 1927 and is a living museum without all the cutesy memorabilia. It was beautifully decorated with Fall decor and I'd love to return to see what the owners do with their winter theme. The hosts were incredibly friendly and the breakfast was one of the best we've ever experienced a a B&B. We had a beautiful view of the front yard.
We didn't have a lot of hot water for the shower.
