Nestled among the beachfront neighbourhood of Gibbs, St. Peter, Shoestring is one of the newest additions to the Villa Rental market in Barbados.
Set against a backdrop of towering trees and aquamarine sea, the composition of this beachfront home celebrates Barbados’ vernacular wooden chattel house. Bold architectural layering with large living areas, surrounding louvre windows and oversized glass doors allows for extensive views of the garden and what is undeniably one of Barbados’ best beaches. Smooth granite finishes juxtaposed next to glass provides a sophisticated and minimalistic composition and the straight lines and shape of the front entrance, hovering over a peaceful koi pond evokes a clear sense of sophisticated and modern tranquillity.

We have been travelling to Barbados for many years but this was our first time staying directly on Gibbs Beach. We absolutely loved it. It was by far the quietest and most private place we have stayed. Shoestring is extremely modern which we also loved and everything about the villa is pristine. The beach at Gibbs is beautiful and we were able to walk to Mullins and enjoy lunch at The Sea Shed Restaurant. We are happy to recommend it.
