Nestled in a tranquil neighborhood just 10 minutes from the Manuel Antonio National Park, Villa Michelina offers privacy, jungle views, and all the comforts of a luxurious retreat. Perfect for nature lovers and those seeking peace, the spacious terrace and pool deck provide ample space to soak up the sun, listen to the soothing sounds of a nearby creek and waterfall, and spot wildlife like monkeys, sloths, and birds. Villa Michelina offers convenient location in the middle of nature and yet close to beaches, the famous Manuel Antonio National Park, a world-class marina, health-care facilities, and endless activities for everyone, from guided nature hikes to ziplines, sport fishing white water rafting, surfing lessons and many other exciting adventures.
Villa Michelina boasts spacious rooms, with lots of light from high ceilings and windows, decorated with countless Balinese details and modern amenities.
The main floor has a spacious living area and a kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and custom-made wooden cabinets.
The master suite, located just off the main living area, features a massive Indonesian antique headboard and a bathroom in marble stone surface finishes furthermore easy access to the private terrace and down to the central pool and patio.
The other two bedrooms are located on the other side of the main living area and are accessed down the stairs from the living. The two rooms share an appointed bathroom.
The expansive pool features a 2 ft wading pool above which flows into the main pool. Perfect for those looking just to stay cool! For those looking to connect with nature, the pool deck features gorgeous jungle views, wildlife sightseeing and the peaceful sound of a year-round creek that meanders right below from the property, for a unique atmosphere of relaxation.
This is not just an average rental villa. It's also our home away from home therefore we keep it in the best condition!
Most of our guests choose to rent a vehicle during their stay. While taxis are plentiful and available, having a rental car is often a more economical and practical approach to exploring the local area. We recommend utilizing a 4×4 vehicle to access the house and explore the off the beaten paths and bumpy Costa Rican roads. Our Concierge can assist in setting up any car rental services and can have the car delivered to you.
Housekeeping service is provided every other day with the exception of Sunday's and Costa Rican holidays.
While the home is equipped with private well water (not drinkable), the refrigerator includes a filter to ensure the water is safe for drinking.

Great place to stay very nice definitely need a 4x4 they have a couple issues with termites which I'm sure they will take care of but other than that it was great

Villa Michelina was incredible. The pool and back deck alone were worth the price - we sat out there and watched birds all day. Swam and watched birds - so amazing. The house is stunning. Only suggestions are that it could use a few more coffee mugs - only 3 and we were 4 people. And some of the rooms had quite a few bugs bc doors didn't fully seal, but was very minor compared to the overall wonderful stay!

We enjoyed the house. It was well appointed and in a central location between Quepos and MA. The driveway was no joke, but definitely do-able with a 4 wheel drive. Very comfortable home and pool/outside areas. We were. a little disappointed because the description on VRBO said that there was a trail down to the river and waterfall below the house. There was no trail and we were told to go to the bridge we crossed along the way to the house and try to follow the river, but to be careful, etc.... Would be better to not state in the description of the house that this was even a possibility. We are adventurers and chose the house because of this location/proximity to a trail & waterfall. We did enjoy our stay and the hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful. The concierge services offered are also phenomenal.
