The place was pretty clean.

Way too expensive for the quality, didn’t look like the pictures. Neighbours too loud, minimal privacy. Door handle is broken.

- Owners we’re very friendly and great at communicating - Bedroom was well kitted out and bed was really comfy - Location was great, on a quiet street but easily walkable to main attractions

only slight negatives would possibly be: - shared bathroom for a quite a few guests (wasn’t an issue during our stay though) - could do with more pots and pans for cooking

Pleasant

The location is good, not far from the main Basanavičiaus street.

The room has no air conditioning, thus during the summer it gets really hot and opening a window is not enough to cool the room down. It is a family hotel, the owners are always somewhere nearby but during the check out we were not able to find them anywhere, so it was a bit confusing.

Great location. Great value for money. Simple room. Shared bathroom was not overcrowded, did not have to cue ones in 3 days. Kitchen is fully equipped. Room and shared areas are all very clean. I would stay here again next time I'm in Palanga.

Walls are not very noise isolating, but luckly neighbours were not too loud.

Cheap, clean and well located

This is one of the cheapest places to stay in Palanga and the price-quality ratio is very good. The place is impeccably clean and cared after; the rooms are of different sizes depending on what you book. The location is excellent, in a quiet cosy street close to town centre and the park.

The walls are rather thin, and the beds in cheaper rooms are not very comfortable. Although one should appreciate the constant care of the owners about the cleanliness of the place, it is somewhat exaggerated in a way that may prevent you from feeling private and relaxed. One of the owners, who seems very polite from the first sight, is constantly walking around the building and complaining about most(!) customers leaving the shower, kitchen, rooms etc. not clean enough - to the extent that you haven‘t finished your coffee yet and he will ask you whose plate it is in the sink, or who left some hair in the common shower. We found this rather annoying and somewhat disrespectful of the guests. Also, when you ask the guy about any elementary service, he will say that „usually we don‘t provide this, but ok“, leaving you with a feeling of guilt. This was the case about the missing towels in our room, which, in our opinion, should not be missing in any decent accommodation, and also when we asked about a possibility to leave our bags after the checkout time (which should also be part of the essential service). Overall, there is not enough understanding from the owners‘ side that happy and returning customers bring money to their business. Hope this can change in the future.
