If you’re dreaming of a beachfront getaway with stunning ocean views, look no further than Coastal Cottage at North Coast Village. This beautifully remodeled beach condo offers an unobstructed view of the whitewater ocean from the moment you step inside. With its panoramic vista stretching past the Oceanside Pier and all the way to La Jolla, Coastal Cottage is the perfect place to unwind and soak up the California sun.
The two-bedroom unit is all on one floor, so you can enjoy the ocean breeze without any neighbors above you. It is located on the top floor of the D cottage building, and the entrance door is accessed via an outside staircase. Imagine relaxing on your private balcony with a refreshing drink, taking in the marine life and beach scene from this south-facing location.
The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream, featuring granite counters, stainless appliances, custom cabinetry, wood-look porcelain floors, and recessed lighting. It’s equipped with everything you need to whip up delicious meals, including service for 12, pots and pans, and serving pieces. Plus, there’s plenty of storage space for your groceries.
The living area is cozy and inviting, with panoramic ocean views, a charming stone fireplace, plush carpeting, and comfortable furnishings including a queen sofa bed and three chairs. There are even three smart TVs in Coastal Cottage, so you can catch up on your favorite shows or movies.
The master retreat is a true oasis, with ocean views and a Cal King pillow-top mattress. Fall asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean waves! All linens, beach towels, and chairs are provided, making it the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate.
The master bath is a spa-like retreat, featuring a walk-in shower, designer tile, and granite countertops. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a tub/shower combination, and it’s been beautifully remodeled with new cabinets, granite counter, and designer tile walls, as well as wood-look floors.

Beautiful view of the ocean from the deck, master bedroom and kitchen window. The condo was stocked with all your essential needs in the litchen. The beds were comfortable with cozy linens. We enjoyed the fireplace in the livingroom with a direct view of the pier. I will definately come back!

Property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful grounds, right on the beach, ocean views. The only down side to our stay was that on day 2 a family stayed in the unit just below and had their kids playing out on the grass until 1130PM every night. When you dont have A/C and you want to leave the windows open for a breeze and also to sleep with the sound of waves, this ruins the experience. Its no fault of the owner, but it really did put a big damper on the trip and any potential renter should be aware the grassy area just outside the master bedroom can be a problem.

We enjoyed visiting the beach at Oceanside after Tropical Storm Hillary passed through. Earlier in the week when we first heard about the hurricane coming we asked about the possibility of cancelling or rescheduling. First we were told they knew nothing about a hurricane. Later we were told it probably would not be serious. It rained for most of our trip to Oceanside on Saturday. The storm caused us to be inside all day Sunday; the beach was closed and nothing was open locally. The location of the rental was excellent; the view of the beach is amazing. The rental itself could have been cleaner, especially the carpet and one of the living room chairs. The screen door is difficult to open. The ice maker does not work and leaks water. The smoke alarm went off and could not be reset on Sunday - we took it to the Patrol office. When we reported it to the mgt company, we were told to throw it away. Rain came in the balcony door during the storm. We had no way to dry the carpet. The towel bar in the smaller bath was falling off the wall. All of this was reported to management during our stay. None was attended to while we were there. We would also recommend you clean the exhaust fan in the bathroom. The kitchen overall was very nice. The beds were comfortable. We appreciated that a pack and play was provided. We had two cars (two families) and we had to move one of the cars everyday which wasn't always easy. We appreciated the location of the parking garage to condo. It was good to have a parking garage during a tropical storm.
