Wolf Totem Lux Backpacker Villa

Super unique, Ivan has put so much effort and care into building out Wolf Totem to create a special space in the mountains of Pisac. The spaces around the property are all well thought out for specific purposes, like the kitchen/ common area is perfect to meet new people and just hang out or work if you are WFH. Ivan offers pizza night and different food each day which really brings people together. The yoga deck is absolutely stunning and there is just always something to do (pool, sauna on Thursdays, pool room, etc). Ivan is always around to offer his advice or a good story, though if hes busy with something he might ask you to wait a second so he can concentrate on whats in front of him. Loved meeting people here, loved Pisac — it might be my favorite place in Peru so far— and loved getting to know Ivan and all his sweet pets.

Be prepared to hike up and down a sizeable hill to get to Wolf Totem. The vibe is definitely very rustic but in a charming way IMO. It feels real and authentic, though if youre not comfortable with hanging around spiders and some dust, then maybe find somewhere more modern.
