Villa Nautica is located on the beautiful beach at Mirador San Jose, 60km south of the port city of Manta and just minutes north of Machalilla National Park. With kilometers of spectacular beach, Mirador San Jose lies directly across from Isla de la Plata, often referred to as the “mini Galapagos”, one of the many highlights within Machalilla National Park.
Villa Nautica is a luxurious 2 bedroom beachfront duplex. The entire main floor as well as the pool and patio area is part of Villa Nautica and only accessible to Villa Nautica renters. Oceanview from the Master bedroom and the living room. When relaxing in the completely private infinity pool (under construction), you feel just like if you were in the Pacific Ocean.

Villa Nautica beachfront condo is very well maintained and fully furnished. I would definitely recommend this condo to friends.

Seems like we were the first people to ever stay at the property. Overall it was a great stay and the property and condo are wonderful. The master bedroom has a terrific ocean view and opens right to the outdoor deck. The other bedroom, which we didn't use, would not be as nice and would have no view, apart from out the front door, which is basically a view to the development which is under construction. That view would be a dry and barren landscape, dotted with homes being built. Since we were the first to stay there, upon our arrival, the stove was not even connected yet, but the person was able to find the piece relatively quickly and put it into place for it to work. The internet also was not available during our stay but again that may be just a question of time. The outdoor pool, a small infinity pool overlooking the ocean was also not ready yet (as was clearly stated in the description) and having the workers there working on it the last morning was a bit inconvenient, but again once it is ready it should just add to the overall charm and beauty. The place was actually much bigger than the pictures we saw which was a nice surprise. There is no direct access to the beach from the condo, but rather you have to walk about 3 minutes down the street and then down some stairs to access the beach. A car seems to be a must as the nearest town would be Puerto Cayo and the one convenience store near the entrance is limited in its options. There is really very little else nearby. We brought our own coffee, but were disappointed to learn that the machine in the condo limits the type of coffee you can put in there. Just an fyi for you coffee lovers. Overall though a great stay and we would stay again. Over time, it will be interesting to see how developed the development becomes and if that starts to feel crowded or not. For now, there are very few people there and you have the beach pretty much to yourself.
