About this cabin rental
This one bedroom cabin features an upstairs loft sleeping area with one queen size bed and one twin bed. The living room, bathroom and kitchenette are downstairs. Comes with Wifi, UHD TV and all the comforts of home! The cabin has both AC and heat.
The backyard is shared with the (nearby) main house, but you will have all the privacy you want. In addition, you will have access to a large deck above the cabin on Flagstaff Mountain.
The cabin comes with reserved off street parking. Historic attractions, shopping, bars and restaurants are a short walk away.
The cabin is a peaceful and serene escape, with 475 square feet of space with a living room, kitchenette, dining area and bathroom on the ground floor. The bedroom/loft is upstairs.

The backyard is yours, including propane BBQ, outdoor fireplace, tables and chairs. You can listen to music, talk and have fun outside as late as you like.

We stayed at the Cabin in the Trees for three nights in early July 2026. The Cabin is a cozy tiny house with very nice furnishings. (The bed could be a bit more comfortable, but that is a minor complaint, considering how awesome the Cabin is overall.) As nice as the Cabin is, the true stand-out feature is the private outdoor space, complete with a stone fireplace, large table, and gas fireplace. The property is also great to explore -- there's countless surprises and Easter eggs to find.

Great place to stay and see what Jim Thorpe has to offer. The cabin is clean and cozy and makes you feel at home. Also, lots of extras like coffee maker, hair dryer and iron etc. The host and property manager were quick to respond to?? Our stay was a real pleasure. Very close to town and sites like the Old Jail and can walk to pretty much wherever you want to go. We parked and only drove once to see Jim Thorpe's grave site and walked to take trolley or take in some activities and sites. The lights around the property at night are a real nice touch and just adds to the experience. Looking forward to our next visit hopefully in the future.....

Fantastic little cabin! The property was well kept and the host was quick to reply and fix an issue we had. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to visit Jim Thorpe.
