PALAZZO BECCAGUTTI CAVRIANI - Gallery Suite e Frescoes Suite

We had a wonderful stay in the Gallery and Frescoes Suite. The Highlights: The main room is adorned with incredible 500-year-old wall paintings and sleeping there felt truly magical. Both the bed and bathroom were excellent. The Location: It’s conveniently located just outside the ZTL zone, with a secure public parking lot on the same street about 200–300 meters away. Good to Know: The included breakfast only consists of Nespresso capsules, but the suite features a very useful small kitchenette, which made it easy to manage our own morning meals.

Ungewöhnliche Unterkunft in einem Palazzo mit Kunstausstellung. Diverse Exponate sind Bestandteil der Wohnung. Die Wohnung im EG hat Zugang zu einem Innenhof und ist ruhig gelegen. Aufgrund der Deckenhöhe und Klimaanlage war es auch bei sommerlichen Temperaturen angenehm. Die Stadt lässt sich bequem zu Fuß erreichen.

Die Küchenausstattung ist für zwei Personen ausreichend.

Wann kann man überhaupt einmal in einem Apartment wohnen und schlafen, dessen Wände mit alten Fresken aus der Renaissancezeit ausgeschmückt ist? Und das ergänzt die tollen Museumsbesuche in Mantua wunderbar.Die kleine Küche und das Bad sind mit allem Notwendigen geschmackvoll und modern ausgestattet. Einige Bauhaussitzmöbel geben einen modernen Touch. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral zur Innenstadt und zum Palazzo Te. Ein Parkhaus ist in unmittelbarer Nähe.Sehr herzlich und informativ war auch der Empfang durch Pierangela mit vielen Tipps.Liebevoll und persönlich ein Blumenschmuck aus dem Garten. Für das Frühstück sind ausreichend Kaffee,Tee,Kekse,Zwieback,Butter und Marmelade im Schrank vorhanden. Zusammengefasst eine absolut empfehelnswerte Rarität.

Die schicken Leselampen am Bett könnten etwas mehr Licht produzieren.

Lovely historic building. Clean throughout.

No sound insulation between the floors. We were on the ground floor and we could hear the people upstairs walking and talking and the trolly bags sounded alarmingly loud especially when the people were travelling at 4 a.m . Lots of attention was given to the design/look of the room rather than any practical considerations e.g where do you hang your towels as there were no rails or hooks. Also no T.V or comfortable chair to sit in.Beakfast was included but that meant being given some dried toast in a packet.
