Laura Family Apartments

This apartment is 10/10, very clean, comfortable bed, everything is so close , we didn’ even need a metro or a bus. You have a kitchen and everything you need in it. And Laura is really helpful, she gave us a few tips about what to visit and where to gonin Rome.

Great location, very secure, clean everything we needed. Laura and friends very helpful great recommendations.

Shower needs a bit of attention low pressure, and the wifi was very intermittent, and it was essential as mobile access in the building is limited.

Some minor issue that is not a deal breaker.

The location in the Prati area, quite close to the Vatican, was excellent. There were numerous restaurants and shops nearby. It was extremely clean. The bathroom was very large (although the shower, typical of Europe, was tiny). Kitchen was fine, although only had water (you have to purchase all supplies).

The check in was very poor. I received conflicting messages from someone regarding the best timing of my arrival. Per the "hosts" request, I worked to get to the place earlier than expected. I was handed off to a different person with a different WhatsApp phone number, who then tried to coordinate time with me. As it typical in an old city like Rome, the address was difficult to find (it is a long street and the numbers do not go in any logical order). I was walking up and down the street trying to find the exact number, asking people who also didn't know where it was. I texted the person who was supposed to be waiting for me to let her know I couldn't find it. She gave me the name of a small business near it, which was of no help (no one knew where that was, either). After searching for 30 minutes, I eventually found the place (she was standing outside of it, clearly looking for someone). I share this because the initial person who was communicating with me was not intervening to help either me or the person sent to meet me there. I try to book places like this from actual 'hosts,' who tend to take better care of their guests. I think this is a company owned unit, in case that matters to you.
