Mar Menor Golf Villa - Frontline Detached & Padel Tennis Club

Villa sijaitsee erinomaisella paikalla ja näkymät golfkentälle ovat hienot. Lyhyt matka kävellen ravintoloihin ja padel paikalle. Tilavat makuuhuoneet ja toimivat kylpyhuoneet joka huoneessa. Paljon astioita, niin riitti kaikille. Astianpesukone ja pyykinpesukone toimi hyvin. Illalla oli mukava mennä aidan yli kävelemään golfkentälle kun se oli suljettu. Huoneistoon oli mukavasti järjestetty 2 lasten sänkyä, mitkä toimittivat asiansa hyvin.

Majoituspaikka hieman epäsiisti. Pakastin valutti lattialle vettä. Alin pakastelokero paksun jään peitossa, jonne jäätyneenä mehujääpuikkoja. Muurahaisia vähän vilisi sisällä. Uima-altaan valaistus ei toiminut ja allas ei ollut lämmitetty. Altaassa vettä hieman liikaa kun vesi pintaventtiilien yläpuolella niin roskat ei päässeet pintaventtiiliin. Huoneistossa imuri mikä täysin käyttökelvoton. 12 päivän aikana olisi mukava imuroida roskat välillä pois.

Very clean property with good facilities. Views of the golf course were exceptional, pool great, location lovely!

The kitchen is a little small but you don’t really spend much time in it. There was some personal washing left in the machine when we arrived which we had to hang out and fold but I don’t think this is a common issue. Wish there was a Spar shop closer so we didn’t have to walk in the heat haha!

The pool is perfectly located for peaceful relaxation. The large outside table is great fr supper. The extension for the sunroom is a great asset. The bedrooms are all a good size with a bonus of 2 balcony’s. The spar onsite is good and not overpriced liked other onsite supermarkets. We love to travel 10 minutes and eat at Los Narejos strip of restaurants. The beach is also here, which is lovely. The Mar Menor is great for little ones as it is so shallow for a long time. Murcia city is 35 minutes and is worth a visit, it is beautiful and chocolate cafe fab! The villa site itself is peaceful and clean. Gated community gives a feeling of safety. The hotel has a bar by their pool and although the drinks are a few euros more than by the peach, it is just a few minutes walk from the villa so is a lovely evening treat. Thank you to the owners and the host for answering our questions and preparing the villa.

The air-con can only be set for 2 hour periods max, then turns off, which didn’t help with the heat at night. The fans are not enough. The filters could do with new filter doors to help trap the grass etc. otherwise this is a perfect villa.

The location was great. Local supermarket and a small selection of nice restaurants nearby.

We highlighted a few issues to the host regarding cleanliness, electrical fault, grass over grown and a pool issue. The host responded promptly, however, given the cost of our holiday, I wouldn’t have expected to raise any of these issues. We were told the grass gets cut every 10 days, we were there for 14 and on arrival the grass at the pool area was already overgrown. The shower curtain was dirty and the kettle was leaking, covered in limescale and didn’t switch off automatically after boiling. Apparently I was the first person to raise these faults. Both myself and my son got ear infections. We arranged for a doctor to visit the villa who said it was very likely to be caused by the pool water. Admittedly I am disappointed with the response I got from the host after spending over 3k just on the Villa, I would have expected a lot better.
