About this villa rental
Situated on the Mar Menor Golf Resort the villa is ideal for families and golfers.
The villa boasts 5 bedrooms 4 bathrooms with two ensuite and it can sleep up to 10 people comfortably. Featuring 3 good sized double rooms (2 upstairs 1 downstairs)plus two additional upstairs rooms with twin beds. As an added benefit one the twin rooms also has mattresses that zip together to form a double bed thus giving the villa 4 double beds if required. One of the double bedrooms is located on the ground floor and is ideal for those who cannot manage the stairs and is located next to the downstairs bathroom. Bedroom 1 (Master bedroom)has an en suite with bath/shower and large balcony overlooking the garden and pool area. Bedroom 5 is a new addition to the villa and has an en suite with shower.
The villa is ideal for outdoor living with a large 8.5m private pool and large garden. The pool can be heated at an additional cost if required. Close to the centre of the Mar Menor golf resort with access to shops,bars/restaurants all within walking distance. A car is not essential but advised if you wish to explore outside the resort or if you are golfing on any of the Jack Nicklaus designed courses. The nearest town is Los Alcázares and is about 10-15mins away by car or taxi and again has a plenty of bars,restaurants and shops to enjoy. It’s a beautiful Spanish coastal town on the Mar Menor sea which is ideal for all kinds of water sports,beach days or just enjoying the many beach bars along the promenade.
Free Wifi and UK satellite TV. All bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans for your enjoyment. The aircon is metered however you will be provided with a free allocation which should last your stay if used correctly. Additional cards can be purchased from the keyholder if required..The Mar Menor Golf Resort benefits from 24 hour security with gated entry at both entrances plus on site security patrols 24/7
The additional cleaning fee will be added on completion of the booking. There is an additional charge of £200 to heat the pool should you require . The pool is 8.5 m x 4 m one of the largest private pools on the resort.

From the start the host, Liam, made this booking really easy and the villa is just fabulous. The location on Mar Menor is just about as perfect as it can be, quiet and a large outdoor area. The pool was heated to our surprise, and it meant we swam every day which was amazing with slightly cooler weather in November. The villa is huge and had everything we needed including massive comfy sofa and great beds. We've already said we are coming back in the summer. Great stay and great villa!

Overall we found the villa to be a great place to stay for a family, there were just certain things that affected our stay. When we first arrived the aircon in the main bedroom & twin room next door wasn’t working at all, this affected our sleep for the first night, once we messaged the property manager she got it sorted, however when the engineer came we were told the property owner was aware of a leak within the system and it needed re-gassing on a regular occurrence, this lasted 2 days before it stopped working again. This affected our sleep again. There was also a line of urine down the side of the toilet in the main bedroom which hadn’t been cleaned. The cleanliness could be improved within the villa. The complex around the villa was very clean & safe.
