TinyHouse Inn Saint-Germain-des-Près

The Tiny House is in one of my favourite districts of Paris and the view of the neighbouring rooftops couldn’t be more Parisian if it tried.

Felt a bit like Emily in Paris climbing the stairs. Pack light and you’ll be grand.

Such a great location! It was a real residential feel to the city and a cute spot to stay in. The hosts provided very good instructions about checking in and specific accommodation details (like how to use the AC).

Everything in the hosts control was amazing. The only con was the strong heat during our stay in June that the AC has a hard time beating, but it’s not the hosts fault. Just keep that in mind whenever booking during the summer.

Great location

This could be a cute property with some extra care and maintenance, and better communication from the hosts. Like others, we used the address in the booking.com app and had to find our way to the correct address. It’s not far but after a long day’s travel and dragging luggage it wasn’t what we expected to have to do. It should be stated more clearly in the description that this particular apartment is on level 5 and has many flights of old stairs (some levels have double flights so it’s more than 5) to the top. Unfortunately there were also maintenance and cleaning issues - eg wall power points were loose, the hoses on the free-standing air conditioner were lying on the floor, pots and dishes hadn’t been properly cleaned. Bedding from the last tenants was still in the washing machine/dryer and we were asked to finish drying it and fold it (which further heated the already warm room).
