The location is great, 2 minutes on foot from the historical center of Matera, but reachable by car. The parking lot behind the hotel is very convenient. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony with a view of Matera.
The room could use a refresh, definitively in a need of a coat of paint. Half of the knobs, taps, windows were either damaged or broke off when trying to use them. The area in front of the hotel had random cars parked on it all through the day, so there was nowhere to stop in order to pick up the parking card from the reception.

The lovely female staff member was so helpful both checking in and out. Can't thank her enough.
The rooms are lovely and spacious.
The location is excellent - it's not immediately in the Sassi, cave area but just 3 blocks from the start of Sassi/came views. I found this much easier when walking with luggage from the station.

Very friendly staff, helped us very well when we needed help with the rental car. Got an upgrade en free entrance to spa. Location perfect, next to the sassi and town.

Loved the space , comfort of the bed and decor . The modern bathroom and balcony . It was quiet and private . It was just outside the old city , literally 2 min walk . Parking was available, at a cost right behind the hotel
The views were average, but we knew this and sacrificed vista for comfort. Nothing else to whinge about really
