About this house rental
This two-story home has 6 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms and is centrally located in the gated community of Highgate Park off Highway 27 in Davenport. MILEAGE TO WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 14 MILES AND UNIVERSAL STUDIOS IS APPROXIMATELY 23MILES.
You will find plenty of room for your family to spread out and relax with an open plan kitchen and living area with a flat screen tv. Additionally, you have a games room in the garage.
The fully equipped kitchen features appliances which include a dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, toaster, blender, kettle, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dinnerware etc. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the kitchen table with seating for 4 with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. Or make it more formal by enjoying a meal at the dining room table with seating for 6.
The large pool deck features an attached spa, (pool heat must be purchased to heat), and allows additional space to relax and enjoy a meal under the large covered lanai or to lounge in the sun on the screened in pool deck.

Home is SELF-CATERING which means that you'll have the accommodations and facilities to prepare your own meals but nothing additional will be provided. Your home may include the following supplies: Soap in the Bathrooms, 1 Trash Bag in each bin/garbage can, Small Laundry Detergent, Small Dish Detergent, and Dishwasher Tabs.
Located approximately 15 miles from Disney Highgate Park is centrally located with a Publix grocery store nearby (in Berry Town Center) on Highway 27 and for the larger shopping needs there is a Super Walmart in Clermont (near Cagan’s Crossing less than 5 miles from the home). In both these shopping areas you will find restaurants and take away available. If you are looking for more choices take a quick drive up Highway 192 W where there is an abundance of choices. (Carrabba’s, Outback, Bonefish, Manny’s Chophouse, TGI Friday’s and etc just to name a few).

The home and pool was great for family and golfing friends. This was my second visit to this home so we knew what to expect.

Our stay was very enjoyable. The house accommodated my family and friends nicely. I have rented this home for 2025. The pool and spa were great and the location is perfect for us. However there are a few things that could be improved. Such as the mattress in the master bedroom and the carpet upstairs has seen better days. Kitchen utensils were adequate except for sharp knives. We had to purchase a new set for our dinners. The ottoman was dirty and the interior could use a fresh coat of paint. The sliding door to the pool was very hard to open. The garage was listed as a game room but the pool table was not usable.

We were able to go ahead and check in ( about 2hrs early)when i called to ask about it and about our mobility scooter being delivered. The place was as advertised on vrbo and had plenty of space for everyone, 4 adults and 4 kids ages 2-16. The younger kids loved the pool even without us having it heated. Lol

Overall, the home was mostly as described on the listing. There was minimal lighting in the kitchen area (we prepared Thanksgiving dinner using flashlights on our phones to see because the overhead lighting was so dim) and living room area and the house could use a deep clean. We did speak with property management about the kitchen lighting and the spa, which was broken for two days of our stay. They addressed our calls immediately and sent maintenance out as soon as possible. The spa was fixed, and the lighting was replaced in the kitchen but didn't improve so it must be an issue with the fixture itself. The washing machine was very moldly and dirty. The sliding glass door to the back patio was broken as well and very difficult to open and close. All that said, overall, we did enjoy our stay but would likely not stay at this home again.
