About this cabin rental
Private location with stream and close to town. 3BD/3BA w/full, finished basement in desirable neighborhood. Two bedrooms have king size beds. Enjoy the fast rushing creek/waterfall from 2 covered porches. Tastefully decorated interior includes stone gas fireplace, updated kitchen w/granite-top peninsula island and hardwood floors.
Cabin is located within 5 minutes of Murphy and 15 minutes from the casino. It is located in Tarheel North Subdivision at the end of Trickling Branch Road. The house feels secluded but is in a secure and a safe neighborhood.
This cabin has been our "happy place" for the past several years. It is a wonderful place to enjoy family and friends by just relaxing on the covered decks and listening to the creek which is especially noisy after a heavy rain.
The neighborhood is peaceful and a great place to take a walk in the late afternoons. If you enjoy nature, the Murphy River Walk is only a couple of miles from the cabin. If you enjoy music, you can normally find someone playing in a restaurant downtown.
Just in case you have never visited the area, I have to warn you that everyone is friendly and normally love to talk. So don't get in a hurry and simply enjoy the slow pace. Your stress will fade away!! Who know's you may decide like many others to buy a Mountain home of your own and create your own "happy place". Until then, please enjoy ours.

It was great. Everything was as advertised. Darrell was great to work with great response time. Would definitely stay again. It has 3 bedrooms with a full bath in each bedroom with 2tv areas 1 downstairs and 1 upstairs. Great time. Secluded but only 3-5 min from town .

Absolutely excellent and well appointed home. Beautiful, comfortable, and restful inside and out. The kitchen has what you need should you decide to cook. The porches overlook a trickling stream that does not disappoint in the ambiance and soothing sound.Darrell, the host, is easily reached and answers quickly and very helpful and accommodating.We love this place and the location to some good restaurants is great as well!

Now the gold standard by which all other rentals will be compared to. So well appointed, everything you could needed, even chopsticks were available! Quiet, peaceful, great decks. Beautifully decorated.

The property is magnificent! Our host has always been accommodating. This has been our fourth booking with this property. It is our meeting place for four siblings who live in opposite ends of the country. We love it!!! It’s now become our home away from home!Best host ever!!!!
