La Casa di Sara a Mondello by Wonderful Italy

Nice place, nice location. They gave us a pickup from the airport which is good since there are hardly any taxis in Palermo and they are incredibly expensive.

Weird layout of the apartment. They turned a closet or something into a bathroom for dwarves. Dishes in the living room, not in the kitchen etc. Demanded a 200 EUR damage deposit on arrival and sent multiple messages telling me they don't want to find any dirty dishes or trash in the trash cans which was a new experience for me. There's some autistic kid or something living across the street who basically screams all day, so if you don't wanna listen to constant screaming stay somewhere else. We weren't there much so it wasn't a big deal but if I had been it would've gotten on my nerves.

Amazing comfortable house beside everything, restaurants, bars shops and the beach. Full equipped house with everything you could need. Very homely and the little terrace outside is perfect to sit and relax in.

We spent a week during Christmas at Casa di Sara and we were very happy with our choice. The house was warm, very welcoming, and tastefully decorated, the owner even offered us some local pastries and provided essentials for the kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is located on the ground floor and there is a small open area at the front and to the side of the house which was ideal for our small children to play. There is also a garden table, chairs and a barbecue. The main entrance is from a small private gate, through the small patio and into the dining room, which is spacious. The main bedroom is a good size with a window overlooking the patio, the children’s bedroom is a bit small and has a skylight but is perfectly adequate. There are two bathrooms, one with access from the garden. There was plenty of room for a family of four and we really felt at home. Mondello square with its bakery, cafes, and restaurants and the amazing beach are right around the corner!

The washing machine is showing quite a bit of wear but worked fine
