Very cold and uncomfortable

Location fantastic,new well equipped kitchen all mod cons ,very cold all weekend would do well to supply a hot water bottle as I was very cold in bed . Didn't care for the breakfast bar set up as shared a couple of meals with friends and found it antisocial. Regards Trevor

Location in kirkby was excellent. Accommodation was clean and pleasant with most things you need, nice cosy place.

Had trouble with front door key , was sorted in the end. Bed was far too soft for me, back is aching now. Otherwise great.

Great host, superb location with convenient access to explore the Dales

Great location, lovely ambience and very comfortable

There was a party at the pub opposite on Sat which was a bit loud, other than that our stay was a perfect getaway. Parking was mentioned pre-booking as a potential issue but we planned around that so it was good to be forewarned especially as a bank holiday

Lovely property, can be noisy at night.

Property was centrally located, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Shower was good, and dishwasher was a bonus.

The building is listed which means no double glazing. As a result, the noise from the pub opposite was very loud in the front bedroom - to the point of being able to participate in the pub quiz as we could hear the questions perfectly 😂. If you’re travelling with family, put children/early sleepers in the back room. Also, no table to sit and eat, only a breakfast bar (stools were very cool though). Not an issue if eating out - a lot of fabulous eateries within 2min walk - but awkward for breakfast with smaller children or those uncomfortable on bar stools. Parking is free on street & cars need to be moved by 0900, but beware of Thursday market when parking is at a premium, even in pay & display.

Cosy apartment in centre of a lovely market town

Lovely apartment in a prime spot on Kirkby Lonsdale high street - easy access to shops, pubs and places to eat. Immaculately clean and well decorated throughout. Good communication from the owner.

It was hard to find parking nearby (other than short stay spaces) and there was some noise from the pub opposite on Saturday night. Not the property’s fault but worth bearing in mind if you’re a light sleeper or bringing children with you.

Excellent value for money. Beautiful decor, comfy beds and settee. Clear instructions throughout the apartment for the different amenities eg fire, alarms, heating etc. Clear communication with the hosts. Excellent location with loads of walks, pubs, cafes, shops around.

Fabulous. Spotlessly clean, really well equipped property in a perfect location in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale. Comfortable beds, great shower. Thought the pub across the road might be noisy but not at all. Lynne messaged with us before our visit and gave concise instructions on where to park, find the keys, etc. Also replied very quickly to a message. Perfect stay.

A fabulous little bolt hole in the middle of a delightful, friendly and welcoming town.

The property is very well located right in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale. Access was very straightforward with stairs to the first floor entrance door. It was clean, tidy and equipped to a very high standard. For a self-catering break the kitchen was beautifully equipped. We chose to eat out as only in the property for two nights. The beds were extremely comfortable and the storage in the bedrooms more than adequate.
