Ferienwohnungen Word 5 Altstadt Quedlinburg

Lovely location right in the old town of Quedlinburg. A beautiful old house, sensitively restored. Gorgeous views from the bathroom and bedroom windows. Everything there that we needed. A very welcoming space. Helpful information provided in a guide for the property. We loved the books about Quedlinburg from various eras. We were only there 2 nights so didn't take full advantage of the facilities on offer. It was great to have many leaflets and maps etc. in the hallway to the property. The host very helpfully told us all about car parking in the area and gave us the name of a nearby street with free parking.

There is very little we didn't like, but just a few very small things which could have been better in the flat. Although the mattress was very comfortable, the bedlinen was a bit cheap quality. There was a piece of plastic on the dining table (obviously to protect the wood and table cloth from damage), but it made the table a bit uncomfortable to sit at as it is sticky and smells strongly of plastic. There were various extra charges described in the information booklet in the flat (eg. 5 Euro charge for using the washing machine). Also we had to pay the Kurtaxe which we didn't know about until after we'd booked. The kitchen doesn't have a traditional oven, so it's not possible to bake a pizza or similar food.

Sehr schöne zentral gelegene Ferienwohnung in historischem Gebäude. Alles was man braucht.

Very good communication from the hosts about keys and how to get into the apartment. All the amenities in the kitchenette were appreciated so that we could cook a little ourselves during our stay.

Using the washing machine costs 5€ (which I didn't see until I arrived). Parking isn't at the accommodation and there are stairs, so if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. No air conditioning and only a very small fan available in the apartment we had.
