The place has a great charme, it is decorated with taste, the wooden details are great, the renovation of the place has taken a lot of time and work - which we respect and admire. The dining room used to be the living place of pigs and hens! The area around allows you to make walks on some meadows, the air is clean, it is very quiet. The male host of the house showed my 4-year-old daughter the feeding of the hen, it was very friendly of him. We asked for and got some pairs of old boots for walking around in the rain, so this was very helpful. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean.

First, we booked this place because of the good reviews that we read. We came to the farmhouse after staying a few nights in a different place which was really great and a terrific experience so we arrived with high expectations. Upon arrival the farmhouse family were friendly and helpful. We could stay in the dining room, which had a fireplace, and wait until the room was ready for check-in. We reserved a home-cooked dinner at the property, after being told that other guests did the same, expecting nice home made food from a farm with real animals and products. Unfortunately we experienced quite a few negative points so we left one night earlier, although we had booked for 2 nights... Summing up the negative points: Rooms way too cold, heated only with radiators, the heating in the bathroom did not work, and we had to almost beg for putting more wood in the fire. Then, the terrace doors or windows did not have a protective nets so a really big moth came in while we opened the door - a very negative experience.. Secondly, the breakfast which was included in the stay was worse than poor. One baguette, some butter and 4 spoonfuls of jam for 2 families! We expected to be offered at least some egg varieties as the farm had their own fresh laid eggs! Unbelievable how we tolerated this! No cheese offered, not even a slice of ham etc. After the host lady came 3 times asking if we want more coffee, which she brought, and she saw that nobody was eating anymore - she brought a jar of home made yoghurt and a sheet pan with something made from the old baguette from the evening and some stirred in mirabelles and eggs. Of course we tried a spoon of each but no one was hungry anymore after eating the dry baguettes. It would have been nice to be offered these already at the beginning of the breakfast or at least communicated that something like that is arriving. Not that it was very tasty..
