Still a lovely cottage! and great beds, very clean and loved our stay

Generally; very modern, comfortable, spacious and a good location

The wood for the log burner did not burn! and no kindling and due to the very cold weather this was disappointing- when stated in the advertisement wood would be provided - No extra blankets for the single room beds - kids cold during the night

Very comfortable especially the kitchen diner going onto the garden and my daughter loved the studio at the end of the garden to do yoga.

Just could have done with another J cloth and more loo roll and dishwasher tabs. Also salt and pepper empty.

Pleasant but would not return.

Felt cozy.

Surprised there were no tea bags/coffee etc as a welcome pack. Property a little run down in places. Dishwasher had two dirty cups in it on arrival.

sweet little cottage idea for a weekend stay . kitchen well equipped despite being small.

It had a wood burner which made it very cosy as the room would have been onto cool side .

Overall a delightful property, comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean - we loved it

Lovely all round well-appointed accommodation. When we had a minor problem with a faulty internal door, someone was there within minutes and sorted it immediately.

Only a couple of very minor points: The lighting and the electricity points in the second bedroom could do with improvement. The boiler in the kitchen was quite noisy

Comfortable and restful stay.

Comfortable and clean. Nice walk to town. Excellent bathroom - powerful shower and toilet has an excellent flush. Nice and clean. Nonslip mat for bath was good. Garden for dog. Lovely kitchen which opened out to garden. Comfortable beds.

Maybe have a second fan in the back bedroom. Maybe warn of steep stairs in case you have people with mobility issues going. It was wonderful, we really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

A great little break by the sea

A lovely cottage, with a sunny garden out the back and room for the four of us.

A couple of maintenance issues (deck lights were blown and door handles/lock issues) but nothing that spoilt our enjoyment of the property.

A lovely weekend get away

The property was lovely and clean, the kitchen was very well equipped and modern as was the bathroom. Beds were comfortable (if you like a firmer mattress) and the decor of the property was good. look in the cupboards, there are some board games and dvd’s. Nice hot water, central heating and a log fire. 10 minutes to walk into town, which has some lovely shops and some good eating places. fabulous fish and chips and a lovely Thai. Pubs are very welcoming of dogs, and there’s a few of them to try out. Nice easy drive to Snape and Southwold. Sleepers cottage is perfect for a few days break.

The stairs are quite steep, this isn’t a dislike, most properties of this age in the area will have stairs like this, it’s just worth a mention In case you struggle with stairs. Wi-Fi code, quickest way is to look at the back of the router, not sure what the code is on the first page of the welcome book but it didn’t help us get online. We didn’t spend an awful lot of time in, but the sofas were a little less comfortable if you were going to spend a few hours relaxing on them watching a movie. perfectly ok for a sit down and a cuppa.

Enjoyed our stay in Aldburgh but the cottage did not live up to our expectations

Great location. Easy walk into town. Well equipped kitchen.

The stairs are very steep. The property states sleeps 4 people. However, 3 people is a better suited number as the property is a 2 up, 2 down and 1 of the bedrooms is small. The street is noisy e.g traffic, people returning from the pub at night. Parking on street and this proved tricky at times as first come, first served.

Good location, well stocked kitchen, very sadly not one we will return to Im afraid

Location was great with parking on main road outside. Good access to main transport routes. Decent quality and well stocked kitchen, virtually every piece of kitchen utensils you could need for a stay Beds comfy, linen good. The kitchen was bright and airy and overlooks small garden, wonderful light, and worked for us. Communication from lettings agency was easy to follow with directions and clarity of contact if needed. Bathroom clearly a newer addition and works well with bath and shower, which is great. Loved Aldeburghs small town, vintage feel, with great shops, eateries etc. Southwold nearby and Thorpeness also are wonderful examples of towns well run and thriving, especially the Pier.

Felt it would be so easy to make this cottage sing but very sadly several things didnt come up to our usual 4/5 star graded cottage choice. The lounge furniture is very well used and shows clear signs of wear and tear, with grubby marks and clearly something has been sick on sofa which appears is very much for dogs, as are the rugs in lounge - distinct smell. I work with animals and know there is no reason for this other than they haven't been cleaned for a long time. The kitchen has evidence of dogs scratching door and chewing units. The whole cottage is in need of a deep clean and a attention decoration especially paintwork which is heavily chipped and scuffed. We dearly loved this little cottage and feel it needs some love putting back into it to make it what it deserves to be.

Very convenient location, short walk into town, but with facilities on doorstep. Also great to have recreation ground nearby for dog walks and to walk through down to seafront.

Stairs were 3 extremely steep and this should have been mentioned in the description of the property. Bannister was also coming unsecured at top of stairs. Garden was untidy and grass area, slabs uneven. garden furniture was dirty.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, very cosy and a good location.

Nice enclosed garden for the dogs. 2 supermarkets 2 mins walk away. Just a 10 min walk into town centre. Footpaths for dog walking very close by. There is a pub 1 min walk away but it was closed and up for sale during our stay :(. Free on-street parking just outside the property.

The stairs are rather steep. The wi-fi wouldn't let my laptop connect, but my phone connected OK. Shower a bit tentative. We had problems making sure we'd picked up after our dogs because the garden was a bit overgrown

Great location. Very clean and everything was easy to access. Clear instructions for entry and exit. Loved the sunny back terrace as well. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Clean simple small but ideal for a short stay with a dog.

Comfy bed. Good kitchen equipment. 10 m walk to the beach with dog waste bin on the way.

Had the fire been made up or newspapers and kindling available ( which could be replaced by guests on leaving as is mostly done), it would have felt we were more welcome. Understand need for space in lounge but uncomfortable settees, sorry.
