Good size property, for family or two couples with parking close to town centre, a good choice.

The location of the property was good, close enough to walk into Aldeburgh. It had a nice pub and 2 convenience stores just around the corner and the parking was good. The room sizes were good apart from a very small kitchen but we weren’t there to cook so it was adequate to our needs. The street is quiet and the house is very private( garden not overlooked) Tea, coffee and milk were provided which was a lovely touch.

On arrival the first impression was that of overflowing waste bins outside, the bins had clearly not been emptied for a long time. The green lid did not close so there was exposed rubbish in the bin with flies and rubbish bags at the side of the bin. This did not give a good first impression and we were apprehensive about entering the property after seeing this. The next impression was the carpet in the hallway which is clearly ready for replacing and looks quite grubby, but the rest of the flooring and carpets in the house, are beautifully laid, new and clean. Some of the paint work needs remedial work but overall the house is well appointed and clean. The property was overall a good find, the garden could do with some attention in respect of weeding and cutting of the grass but overall this did not spoil our stay. It is a nice property and we would recommend and stay again.

The landing and stairs could do with the floor boards sorting as they were very squeaky. My mum uses the loo quite a bit in the night and it woke everyone up

A comfortable stay in a nicely presented house, just needs a few tweaks to be really good

A modern, well-presented and well-furnished property. Conveniently located in a quiet area on the edge of Aldeburgh. Has all of the amenities expected.

Some of the interior doors don’t open and shut properly, this caused some concern for one of the party who found themselves locked inside their bedroom and unable to get out for quite a while. Instructions for using the heating and WiFi were not visible. I tried messaging the hosts but did not receive a reply. In the end we worked everything out but a simple information pack on arrival would be helpful!

Potential to be lovely, going by previous reviews. Unfortunately a big let down for us in this case.

The house was in a nice area, easy to access and was spacious. Milk and crisps left for us which was nice.

There was a huge damp problem in the kitchen from a previous leak. The smell was so bad it was unbearable. Even my clothes stunk when I got home. I contacted the owners who were very apologetic but it really made our stay not enjoyable. They did say they would look into it again. Toilet seat broken and all mugs in cupboard were dirty.

Lovely property in Aldeburgh.

Very clean and fresh - modern furniture - everything worked.

It was a little bit further from the beach than we anticipated but that was down to us not checking on the map before booking.

Could have been lovely

It enabled the 6 of us to stay in one place so we could natter when the kids were down rather than going back to our individual rooms as we would have done in a hotel. Good location. Great little house

Sadly 1 smallish issue had quite a major impact on our night away. The 3rd bedroom was set as a single bed with no 6th bed for the 6 of us. Although we were able to immediately get help from the host who was able to help us locate the key for the cupboard and access spare bed linen, what we weren't able to do was remove the side/dressing table in there which was completely in the way. We weren't able to pull the bed out fully and as a result our children got very upset about not sleeping in there as they had to climb over each other and one wasn't a full bed. So guess who ended up on this bed to keep the peace. To be honest if this is the 6th bed option (the details said something about a futon but we didn't find that) then the side table, lovely as it was, needs to be removed OR it needs to be a 5 bed. Sorry but honest trust that unfortunately ruined our visit

A great space for me to stay in having escaped to the coast for a couple of days.

The location is ideal for accessing walks in the local area as well as the high street for shopping, pubs and restaurants. On site / free parking can be rare in Aldeburgh so that was an additional win.

On a quiet road but outskirts of town so car is preferable for going to beach/restaurants etc. some of the decor is a little dated (some areas need repainting).

Pleasant stay.

Liked the location, enclosed garden and that the TV had streaming services like Netflix. The managing company were responsive to questions.

Downstairs toilet seat broken, downstairs shower didn't work (it was a fuse issue), hall , stairs and landing carpet needed replacing and a how to guide about the house is definitely required (for example, I could not find the washing machine as it was in the garage where I had no key (it turned out the side door was unlocked). The Nest thermostat was unplugged so it was not obvious what it was (it looked like a camera) and to know where the fuse box was. There was old dog poo in the garden which was overgrown.

The cleanliness and quiet neighbourhood.

Uncontrollable temperature in downstairs shower. Long grass and not suitable for being in. Cigarette butts in garden. No iron, dust pan and brush or plug for kitchen sink, nor washing up bowl. Broken toilet seat. No information pack on arrival. We didn't receive any responses to our queries before our stay, from the owners.
