My husband and I love staying in the Carson Valley for our get aways. Gary and Judy's place is located in this beautiful high desert with gorgeous views and easy access to all the outdoor activities we love, be it hiking, fishing, skiing, biking, kayaking and visiting beautiful lake Tahoe. We return from each active day to a very comfortable and well kept cottage on their property in a quiet rural neighborhood. The large and fully equipped kitchen allows us to cook our meals just like at home. Their dog is a sweet heart too. This was our second visit and we look forward to our next.

Surprising jewel in a quiet neighborhood, but close to everything. Three bedrooms though one is pretty small, great for a child. The cottage has everything you need for a home away from. Wonderful inside and out. Private yard with nice furniture and BBQ for relaxing and inside everything for cooking, baking or even ordering in. Owners are very responsive and easy to work with. Definitely will stay again.

“The Cottage” is about half of an existing one-story house. In California this desirable layout is called an Additional Dwelling Unit. The Unit is completely cut off and separate.
For us (we are retired) and for others who like quiet - it was perfect! We didn’t hear them and they said they didn’t hear us.
