Lovely cabin in excellent location - car strongly reommended!!

Lovely well equipped traditional log cabin set in picturesque woodland location. Self catering cabin so breakfast is not included. Location was quiet & peaceful although guests should be aware that cabin is a 20 minute walk from Akaslompolo centre so car was essential for transporting food shopping etc.

1. We could not find any welcome binder or instructions written in English. As this accommodation was booked on-line via Booking,com this would have been most helpful - particularly regarding how to safely operate the sauna!! (We have stayed in Cabins in Akaslompolo twice before & such instructions were provided) 2. The fireplace had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The 'ash collection tray' was overflowing & the ashes from the last fire were still in the fire area itself. We also had no fire wood provided - even for 1 fire on our first night - & the Super-Market had sold out. (We have stayed in Akaslompolo twice before & fire wood was provided for our entire stay). 3. We paid extra for the bed linen & towels package & whilst this was provided we were disappointed that there was only 1 bath towel per person meaning the same towel had to be used in the sauna & then to get dried after a shower. There were also no pot towels provided for drying the dishes.

Sijainti.

Likainen ja pölyinen majoitus. Pöly lähti imuroimalla, mutta pesemään ei alettu suihkua, lattipita, seiniä, verhoja ja vuodevaatteita. Ei jäähdytystä. Ilmalämpöpumpun ohje ja kaukosäädin odottivat pöydällä, mutta laitteen käyttöönotto aiheutti sulakkeiden palamisen. Lomarenkaan mukaan ei ole ollut käytössä pitkään. Kuitenkaan ei ole mitään varoitusta eikä ohjeistusta , pain vastoin ohjeet odotti pöydällä. Sulakkeita oli palanut myös aiemmin koska niitä oli paljon sähkökaapissa. Lomarengas informoi että kuumaan mökkiin tuodaan tuuletin huoltofirman toimesta. Ei tuotu koskaan. Tuuletus läpi yön ikkunoilla joissa oli hyttysverkko, silti yläkerrassa 30 astetta aamulla. Sijaintilinkki ei näytä oikeaan paikkaan, mökkiin löytyi n 10 min etsinnän jälkeen.

De ligging en het was comfortabel, gezellig.

Handdoeken mogen maal 2 en er ontbrak een keukenhanddoek.

Schöne Hütte, aber nicht sehr gepflegt

Die Hütte ist gemütlich und gut aufgeteilt.Die Lage im Wald ist schön und ruhig und trotzdem nicht weit weg vom "Zentrum"

Die Spülmaschine funktionierte nicht. Die Matratzen sind arg angeschmuddelt. Es sind einige Ausstattungsgegenstände abhanden gekommen (z.B. ein Backofen ohne Backblech?), da sollte noch mal draufgeschaut werden. Es gibt keinen Ansprechpartner vor Ort.
