Villa by the sea

This is a spacious, comfortable beach house. It is very private but walking distance to the beach. However be aware that much of the beach area is occupied by “Lido” rental spaces. Many beautiful places to visit and enjoy sunny beaches are within driving distance. Walking to the beach is also an option. The owner and his assistant are very helpful and willing to make the experience optimal.

A large spacious house with 4 good size bedrooms, large lounge / diner, enclosed garden and secure parking for 2 cars. Communication with the owner was exceptional including multiple tips and advice on what was around and good places to eat and visit. Communication with the local property manager was more difficult as he spoke little English but he dealt with a few minor problems very quickly. For a winter let, we found the house to be very cold and the heating was not really adequate. The grass was only cut once at the very end of our whole 6 week stay. Also, away from the summer season there was almost nothing at all open in the village of Sangineto Lido (apart from 2 coffee bars) and the local villages were extremely quiet with shops and restaurants only open for very limited times.

Everything was perfect : the house is big, fresh, with all amenities . The garden well organised with reading corners , lot of shadow, beautiful flowers . You feel in an oasis of calm. Few steps away the beach and blue Calabrian sea. Bakery, bar, restaurants are easily reachable by foot - we used the car only few times for big grocery ! You can even buy from the neighbour organic veggies and fruits grown in the next door garden … Communication with the owner was also spotless: he helped us finding a transfer from the airport, booking the spot on the beach, gave us great suggestions on restaurants and local shops. It is an amazing stay for a family with kids. Highly recommended

Wir hatten einen äußerst angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Villa Magnolia. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und ist mit allen nötigen Utensilien ausgestattet. Außerdem kann man in dem gepflegten Garten schon früh am Morgen die Sonne genießen. Die Lage ist mit ca. 100 Meter zum Meer auch ideal. Für Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist jedoch außerhalb der Saison ein Auto zu empfehlen. Der Vermieter und seine Mitarbeiter sind sehr bemüht auf alle Wünsche einzugehen und schnellstmöglich eine Lösung zu finden. Nochmals ganz herzlichen Dank dass wir in der Villa Magnolia eine wunderbare Zeit genießen durften. Mille Grazie
