Well we want to come back for some days and explore some of the nearby trails.

We had a morning walk to the Tres Cachoeira (we had it completely to ourselves) and then a quick pre-breakfast swim in Fernando's 'natural' swimming pool, which improved our appetite. Breakfast was healthy, fresh, and nutritious with a view of the green foliage and the sound of the babbling brook—wonderful.

We were so happy and content and just asked Fernando any questions that we had. Google let us down finding the location, so it's worth double-checking the location before arrival.

Good value for your money in Penedo

Location is great just outside the main and busiest area; and breakfast too, a good value for your money in Penedo.

Regarding comfort, these are wooden cabins surrounded by nature 360º, however bed linens and covers were a bit smelly due to humidity or during washing process, not a big deal but hinders a good night sleep.

Superb

It’s an ideal pousada for those who want to be Surrounded by a lush nature setting complete with a stream and little waterfall. The staff, a couple, was very friendly and receptive. Our room was nicely decorated and clean. I believe our little 1 year old seemed to most enjoy his stay, exploring barefoot and playing with the host’s cat and dog. Measures of Covid were also respected . We had a much needed peaceful and rejuvenating time in this beautiful natural environment. Thanks again to the hosts!

A acomodação fica localizada em um sítio, com uma vasta área verde. A proposta é bem intimista, são quartos tipo chalés, todos com a pegada rústica. O café da manhã é bem servido e com opção de ovos fritos ou mexidos na hora. Nos sentimos muito bem acolhidos em um ambiente familiar. Certamente recomendo!

Entendo que uma recepção seria algo que agregaria valor, uma área de convivência, além da área do café.

Fomos recepcionados pelo Nando, que nos ajudou com as malas e nos levou na nossa acomodação. Chegando no quarto, tudo limpinho e cheiroso, Nando super gentil nos ajudou indicando restaurantes. Detalhe a pousada tem uma piscina natural. No dia seguinte fomos tomar café, que estava maravilhoso. Pão,frios,frutas e bolos. Café e sucos, tudo fresquinho uma delícia. Nando está por perto sempre para ajudar e deixar nossa estadia confortável.

Queríamos nos desconectar da correria da cidade. E, assim conseguimos. A calmaria do sítio Itaúna, juntamente com o som dos pássaros e da cachoeira. Perfeito! Nando, muito prestativo! Café da manhã simples, mas muito gostoso! Você toma café com as ilustres visitas dos pássaros. 💖

Chegamos no dia 04/08, meu aniversário. Conseguimos mudar o check-in, para às 11h. Chegamos na pousada, vimos o quarto e fomos para o centro. Quando retornamos, era por volta das 14:30. Entramos para o nosso quarto, estávamos exaustos da viagem. Nesse momento, era muita falação... acredito que eram os funcionários na manutenção do sítio. Teve uma hora, que o rapaz iria entrar no nosso quarto para desentupir o vaso. Ele disse assim: será que tem gente aí? Melhor ligar, para conferir antes que dê ruim. Meu esposo falou alto: " se está fechado e porque tem gente". Como tínhamos acabado de chegar, n sabíamos fechar direito a porta. Não tínhamos visto o cadeado que estava em uma bancada. Foi bem desconfortável essa parte. Fora isso, foi perfeito!

Um lugar de paz e acolhimento.

Adoramos o entorno! Muito verde, cachoeira dentro da pousada, café da manhã com pássaros diversos nos visitando à mesa. Muita paz! Os funcionários são maravilhosos, muito acolhedores. Nos sentimos em casa!

A acomodação poderia ser melhor. Estava tudo muito limpo, mas alguns detalhes deixaram a desejar: a cama estava bamba, a iluminação era insuficiente, cheiro de mofo, a lareira estava entupida e não tinha aquecimento no quarto. Gostamos da rusticidade, mas é necessária uma manutenção mais acurada.

Excelente. O chalé é extremamente aconchegante. O lugar é cheio de espaço para criança brincar. Pet friendly. Meu cachorro pode correr e ficar livre no espaço. Nos sentimos muito acolhidos. E o Nando é um excelente anfitrião.
